YISHARAL PROSPERS IN EGYPT
So the sons of Yisharal (Jacob) and all their families prospered greatly in the land of Egypt and as time went on they blended into the Egyptian culture around them, speaking the language, inter-marrying, worshipping and behaving as the Egyptians did. And because Goshen was in the mouth-way to enter Egypt, the Yisharalites were often the first pit-stop for all sorts of international people and they learnt to be very successful traders, merchants, cattle ranchers and farmers, as well as shepherds, and the 12 Tribes of Yisharal reproduced more and more and became a great and mighty nation of people.
At this time the nation of Egypt was the largest, most technological metropolis on the planet and the surrounding nations were constantly waging war against them. The men of Yisharal fought alongside their Egyptian brothers on many occasions and their reputation for being strong and resilient began to ‘rattle the cages’ of the Egyptians, for Yisharal was always victorious in battle with much fewer men and it was clear that they had supernatural assistance. On one occasion the Egyptians even fled the scene like cowards, leaving Yisharal alone to continue fighting their enemies, and Yisharal began to despise the gutlessness of the Egyptians and after that particular battle they even retaliated against them by killing some of the cowardous Egyptians on the way home, for deserting them and leaving them to fight alone.
The ‘Shemites’ (desert-dwelling Asian descendants of Noah’s son Shem) had conquered the throne a few decades before Joseph had been sold into slavery, making the current Egyptian Dynasty ‘tribal cousins’ of Yisharal’s family, and though the Shemite Pharaoh (who had promoted Joseph) ruled most of Egypt’s borders, there was still a growing population down in the south that still stood in opposition and hatred to the Shemite Dynasty.
Not long after the first generation of Joseph and his brothers died, an Egyptian General gathered a military force of strong men and led a civil race-war against the Shemite Pharaoh, battled for the throne and was victorious! Through much bloodshed the Egyptians (from the cursed line of Ham) gained-back rulership of their throne and nation once more and their seething hatred and resentment for the nation of Yisharal was unleashed. No more pathetic Shemite Pharaoh to have sympathy on the Yisharalites, who had become wealthy by living among them and no more wretched Joseph to show them favor and place Egypt under slavery (even though they themselves had begged to be his slaves and for him to save their lives during the sever famine years).
THE EGYPTIAN DYNASTY AT IT'S PEAK
SLAVERY TO THE PHARAOH
This new Egyptian Pharaoh was a paranoid, racist tyrant, who couldn’t give a `brass-razoo’ about Joseph or the agreements put in place for a peaceful existence in the land. He wanted all foreign influences and threats annihilated from his Kingdom, saying, “Look, the population of those disgusting Yisharalites is growing and they’re stronger than we are. We must stop them from growing and outnumbering us. If we don’t, they will join our enemies and fight against us when the next war breaks out. Then they’ll escape and go back to their own country.”
(YISHARAL WAS ABOUT 25% OF THE WHOLE POPULATION AND GROWING FAST).
So the Pharaoh sent his people out to strengthen and fortify the supply cities of Pithon and Ramses, enlisting the helping of the Yisharalites under the guise of paid-labor. But over the course of time, (by specific instruction of the Pharaoh), the Egyptian workers sneakily and gradually stepped back from building alongside Yisharal and began dominating, and exerting authority over them, becoming their site-managers and task-masters, withholding their wages and treating them harshly and cruelly. This is how Egypt infiltrated Yisharal, befriended them, got to know them all and then turned them all into slaves, pushing them harder and harder, taking away their lovely homes and the comforts of life that Joseph had allowed them to have.
The Egyptians made Yisharal’s life a nightmarish agony of oppression and misery, forcing them to make bricks, work out in the fields, build houses, roads, military forts, pagan temples and a network of canals and reservoirs. Yisharal became the whole nation’s labor force, (LIKE BEING ENLISTED TO WAR WITHOUT ANY BENEFITS OR PAY) and as a result Egypt became even mightier and the global superpower of it’s time (like the USA today). By working the Hebrew men into the ground and wearing them down with crushing labor day after day, year after year, the Pharaoh hoped to keep them away from their wives and stop the baby-boom, however the more the Egyptians inflicted and abused Yisharal and were ruthless in all their demands, the more Yisharal increased and swarmed across the nation (MOST WOMEN WERE HAVING AT LEAST 6 BABIES AT A TIME!!) and the Egyptians were repulsed by the nation of Yisharal.
So the Pharaoh called the midwives Shiphrah and Puah to him, saying, “When you help the Hebrew women deliver their babies on the birth-stools, if they have a boy, kill it immediately but if it is a girl, then let it live".
THE MIDWIVES IN THIS TIME WERE A VERY RESPECTED AND ORGANISED PROFESSION IN SOCIETY, HAD THEIR OWN UNION, AND WERE RESPONSIBLE FOR DETERMINING THE FIRSTBORN AND GENERAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING OF MUM AND BUB).
And despite hating the Hebrews as a people, Shiphrah and Puah feared Alahim, and refused to obey the Pharaoh’s orders and they let all the baby boys live. So after some time the Pharaoh ordered them back into his court.
“WHY HAVE YOU DONE THIS? . . . WHY HAVE YOU ALLOWED THE MALE BABIES TO LIVE?”
“The Hebrew women are not like the Egyptian women, they’re stronger and fitter and have their babies so quickly that we can’t get there in time,” the midwives replied. (THERE WERE AROUND 100 BABIES BEING BORN PER DAY!) And YAHUSHA looked after these midwives, giving them families and children of their own and Yisharal continued to grow at a rapid rate becoming more and more powerful.
Then the Pharaoh’s astrologers, magicians, sooth-sayers and diviners came before him, warning him of the protection that had been spoken of for many years, surrounding Abraham, Isaac and Jacob’s people, the promises given to Abraham regarding his descendants living in Egypt, and that they’d recently seen visions regarding a child that was about to be born from Yisharal who would grow up and lay waste to their mighty nation and deliver Yisharal. And they told the great Pharaoh to tread carefully and beware. But the Pharaoh was furious and very stubborn, sending out a royal decree across the entire nation of Egypt, “KILL EVERY NEWBORN HEBREW SON AND THROW THEM INTO THE NILE RIVER, AND LET’S SEE THIS PATHETIC DELIVERER COME FORTH NOW!
THIS WAS ALSO AT THE TIME WHEN THE ABOMINABLE PRACTICE OF SACRIFICING BABIES TO THE SUN-DEITIES WAS RAMPANT.
And every male hebrew baby born was torn from his mother’s breast and slaughtered!!
