TASSELS REMINDERS (NUM.15)
INSTRUCTION FOR OFFERINGS
BECAUSE OF THEIR DISGUSTING REBELLION, WE ASSUME YAHUSHA WOULD REJECT HIS PEOPLE AND TAKE BACK THE ETERNAL BLOOD COVENANT OF DELIVERANCE HE HAD MADE WITH THEM, BUT THE OPPOSITE HAPPENS RIGHT HERE (NO MATTER WHICH GENERATION MAKES IT, THEY ARE INDEED GOING TO ENTER THE LAND JUST AS HE PROMISED ABRAHAM. HE HAD FORGIVEN THEM, BUT THERE WERE STILL CONSEQUENCES . . . ALL OF THE INSTRUCTIONS OUTLINED HERE DON’T TAKE EFFECT UNTIL YISHARAL ENTERS THE LAND OF CANAAN AND ARE PROPERLY SETTLED.
Then YAHUSHA told Moses, “Give the following instructions to the people of Yisharal: “When you finally settle in the land I’m giving you, make sure you offer up fire-food to Me as a pleasing aroma. Whether it’s to ASCEND NEAR to Me, or to fulfill a vow, make a voluntary offering, (or an offering at any of your annual festivals), they must be taken from your herds or your flocks. And when you present them to Me, also bring a LOVE-GRAIN OFFERING of 2.2 litres of choice flour mixed with 1 litre of olive oil. And for each lamb offered, present 2.2 litres of wine as a liquid offering. If the sacrifice is a ram, give a LOVE-GRAIN OFFERING of 4.4 litres of choice flour mixed with 1.3 litres of olive oil and 1.3 litres of wine as a liquid offering. This will be a pleasing aroma to Me. And when you present a young bull you must also give a LOVE-GRAIN OFFERING of 6.6 litres of choice flour mixed with 2 litres of olive oil, and give 2 litres of wine as a liquid offering. This will be a special gift, a pleasing aroma for Me too. Each sacrifice of a bull, ram, lamb, or young goat should be prepared in this way. And all of you native-born Yisharalites must follow these instructions when you offer special gifts to Me. (If any foreigners visit you or live among you and want to present a special gift, they must follow these same Instructions as well because they are equal before Me). This is a PERMANENT INSTRUCTION for you, to be observed from generation to generation.
So what if you accidentally fail to do these Instructions that I’ve given you through Moses? Suppose your descendants in the future stuff up? If the mistake was made unintentionally, and the community was unaware of it, the whole community must present a young bull for an ASCENDING-NEAR OFFERING as a pleasing aroma for Me. It must be offered along with its prescribed LOVE-GRAIN OFFERING and liquid offering and with one male goat for a PURIFYING OFFERING.
And with it the priest will purify the whole community of Yisharal, making them right with Me and then they’ll be forgiven, for it was an accident, and they’ve made it right with their offerings. Yes, the whole community of Yisharal will be forgiven, including the foreigners living among you, for all the people were involved in the disobedience.
If someone commits a crime by mistake, the guilty person must bring a one-year-old female goat for a PURIFYING OFFERING. And the priest will sacrifice it to purify the guilty person before Me, and then that person will be forgiven. But those who intentionally and defiantly disobey Me (whether native-born Yisharalites or foreigners) have insulted and abused Me by deliberately treating My Word with contempt and they must be CUT OFF from the community and suffer the punishment for their wicked behaviour.”
BEING “CUT-OFF” AS PUNISHMENT FOR AN INTENTIONAL CRIME WAS USUALLY DISHED-OUT BY YAHUSHA HIMSELF, NOT MEN, UNLESS HE SPECIFICALLY INSTRUCTED THEM TO DO SO, IT WOULD GENERALLY BE A SUPERNATURAL PUNISHMENT. A FATAL DISEASE, POVERTY-STRICKEN, DYING CHILDLESS ETC . . (THIS WAS ACTUALLY THE MOST FEARED PUNISHMENT BECAUSE ACCORDING TO ANCIENT HEBREW SUPERSTITION AT THE TIME, A MAN’S ESSENCE LIVED ON THROUGH HIS MALE CHILDREN).
And when you arrive in the land where I’m taking you and you eat bread produced there, you must present a cake from the first of the flour that you grind, and put it aside as a special offering, as you do with the first grain from the threshing floor. And throughout the generations to come, you are to do this for Me each year from the first of your ground flour.
YAHUSHA INSTRUCTS THAT THE FIRST BIT OF BREAD DOUGH BAKED ON A REGULAR BASIS IN EVERY HOUSEHOLD IS TO BE DEDICATED TO HIM BECAUSE IT IS A SET-APART PORTION, LEADING US BACK TO THE PRINCIPLE OF FIRST FRUITS WHICH STATES THAT THE FIRST OF EVERYTHING BELONGS TO YAHUSHA, WHETHER IT’S YOUR CHILDREN, YOUR CROPS (BIKKURIM IN HEBREW) OR BREAD DOUGH. EVEN AFTER THE TEMPLE WAS DESTROYED AND YISHARAL WAS SCATTERED INTO THE NATIONS, HOUSEWIVES OF YISHARALITE HOUSEHOLDS WOULD THROW A TINY CHUNK FROM THEIR BREAD DOUGH INTO A FIRE (AS THE TALMUD TEACHES IN IT’S BLIND OBSERVANCE TO DEAD SHADOWS). “NOW IF THE FIRST-FRUIT BREAD OFFERED UP IS SET-APART THEN SO IS THE WHOLE LOAF AND IF THE ROOT IS SET-APART, THEN SO ARE THE BRANCHES.” (ROMANS 11). PAUL WASN’T BEING CRYPTIC HERE, HE WAS SIMPLY APPLYING A COMMON CUSTOM THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN VERY FAMILIAR TO PRACTICALLY EVERY YISHARALITE HOUSEHOLD TO DEMONSTRATE HOW THE SACRIFICE OF FIRST FRUITS APPLIES TO THE MESSIAH AND YISHARAL. NAMELY, THAT IF THE MESSIAH IS SET-APART SO IS THE SOURCE FROM WHICH THE MESSIAH SPRANG, IN OTHER WORDS YISHARAL.
BREAKING THE SHABATH (NUM.15)
One day while the people of Yisharal were in the wilderness, they discovered a man gathering wood on the Shabath day. So the people who found him doing this took him to Moses, Aaron, and the rest of the community, where they held him in custody because they didn’t know what to do with him. Then YAHUSHA said to Moses, “The man must be put to death! Tell the whole community to stone him outside the camp.”
So the whole community took the man outside the camp and stoned him to death, just as YAHUSHA had instructed Moses.
THE SERIOUSNESS OF THE CRIME IS DUE TO THE FACT THAT THE MAN WHO WAS GATHERING THE WOOD HAD FULL INTENTION OF KINDLING A FIRE, SO IN YAHUSHA’S EYES, IT WAS PRETTY MUCH THE SAME THING. MANY HAVE SPECULATED (DUE TO THE SEVERITY OF THE PUNISHMENT) THAT THIS MAN INTENDED TO KINDLE A FIRE IN ORDER TO SACRIFICE A CHILD TO MOLOCK. IT’S NOT MENTIONED BECAUSE SUCH A PRACTICE WAS DEEMED TOO HORRIFIC TO EVEN TALK ABOUT. BUT IF THIS WAS THE CASE, IT WOULD EXPLAIN THE SEVERITY OF THE PUNISHMENT SINCE HE WOULD’VE BEEN CHARGED WITH NOT ONLY KINDLING A FIRE BUT MURDER TOO ??? = DEATH !
TASSELS FOR OBEDIENCE
Then YAHUSHA said to Moses, “Tell Yisharal that throughout all their generations to come you must make tassels (tsitsiyoth) for the corners of your garments and attach them with a blue cord. And when you see the tassels, you’ll remember and obey all of My Instructions, instead of being distracted (as you are prone to do) by everything you feel and see, and the desires which seduce you into depraved whorey behaviour, making you unclean before Me. So the tassels will help you remember to be obedient and set-apart before Me, for I’m Yahuah your Alahim, who brought you out of the land of Egypt that I might be your Alahim”.
