1 We have seen how the Torah Law is simply a shadow of the good things to come and not the image itself of these ultimate realities. So the offering year after year (of these imperfect sacrifices) cannot bring perfection to those who offer them.
REMEMBER THE IMAGE IS NOT A REALITY, BUT JUST A LIKENESS OF ALAHIM YAHUSHA: THE ALEF AND THE TAU.
2 If they'd been effective in serving this purpose, wouldn’t the repetition of these sacrifices have ceased?
DAN.9 - 'HE WILL CAUSE THE SACRIFICES TO CEASE !'
HOW CAN IMPERFECTION BRING ABOUT PERFECTION?
SIN HINDERS ALL PERFECTION, SO THIS OLD SYSTEM WAS
STAMPED WITH FAULTS BECAUSE OF THE PEOPLE AND THINGS INVOLVED ... BUT YAHUSHA BRINGS PERFECTION !
I mean if they had actually worked (and cleansed the person) then wouldn't one sacrifice have cleansed their conscience of sin?
CONSCIENCE = INNER STILL SMALL VOICE INFORMING US OF SIN. THIS VOICE WITHIN BECAME SEERED/DAMAGED AFTER ADAM AND EVE SINNED AND MANKIND HAS SOUGHT TO RELIEVE THEIR GUILTY CONSCIENCE EVER SINCE BY DOING WORKS AND DEEDS TO FEEL BETTER ABOUT THEIR CONDITION. EVERYONE INATELY KNOWS THEY ARE WRONG - THEIR CONSCIENCE IS PRICKED AND THERE IS NO RELIEF ... HENCE THE CYCLE CONTINUES. THE BIRTH OF RELIGION WAS A GUILT COMPLEX!
CONSCIENCE MEANS TO KNOW ONESELF !
YAHUSHA USED THE CONSCIENCE OF THE PHARISEES TO CONDEMN THEMSELVES GUILTY "IE. CAST THE FIRST STONE".
NOT ONE PERSON IS WITHOUT THIS INNER LAW WHICH TELLS RIGHT AND WRONG. IF IT'S WARNINGS ARE IGNORED THEN A PERSON'S CONSCIENCE BECOMES SEERED AND INACTIVE ... USHERING IN EXCUSES INSTEAD.
ONLY YAHUSHA RESTORES THE CONSCIENCE - FOR THIS WAS UNAVAILABLE UNDER THE OLD LAW COVENANT.
3 But these sacrifices actually remind us that we sin again and again, year after year. CONSCIENCE WORKS WITH MEMORY!
THE DAY OF ATONEMENT WAS TO REMIND OF SIN AND PURGE. BUT YAHUSHA SAYS THAT UNDER HIS NEW COV, HE WILL REMEMBER THEIR SINS NO MORE.
4 In the end, the blood of bulls and of goats is powerless to take away sins.
MIKAH CRIED OUT "WILL YAHUAH BE PLEASED WITH 1000'S OF RAMS?"
ALAHIM SAID NO: "THIS IS MY SON IN WHOM I AM WELL PLEASED!"
5 So when Yahusha came into the world He said, "Sacrifices and Offerings were not what You ever wanted, but instead a body that You prepared for Me.. METAMORPHOSIS!
ISAIAH 1:10 Hear the word of Yahuah, you rulers of Sodom, listen to the law of our Alahim, you people of Gomorrah. 11To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices to Me? I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I DO NOT delight in the blood of bullocks, lambs and goats. 12When you come to appear before Me, who has required this at your hand, to tread my courts? 13Bring no more vain offerings - your incense is an abomination to Me - the new moons and sabbaths, even the calling of assemblies, I can't stand it - it's iniquity, even the solemn meeting. 14Your new moons and your appointed feasts - I just hate them: they are a trouble to Me; and I'm fed up dealing with them. 15So when you lift your hands to Me, I will hide My eyes from you: and when you make many prayers, I will not even hear: for your hands are full of blood!"
BUT WASN'T THIS ALL YAHUAH'S IDEA?
THE VERY THINGS HE FIRST COMMANDED (TO TEACH) ... BECAME AN ABOMINATION TO HIM !
6 For Ascending-Near (Burnt) Offerings and Purifying-Sin Offerings are not what please You. IT WAS MERELY A SCHOOL-MASTER!
7 And I said, 'See, I've come to do Your will as it's inscribed of Me (the volume of the Book is written of Me).'”
ADAM SINNED IN THE BODY GIVEN TO HIM, BUT YAHUSHA DIDN'T - SATAN IS FULL OF "I WILL, I WILL, I WILL" BUT YAHUSHA' WAS ALWAYS "YOUR WILL BE DONE" ...
TEACHING US THE RIGHT BEHAVIOUR TO HAVE !
8 Now when it says that Alahim takes no real pleasure in Sacrifices and Offerings (He doesn’t want them, despite what the Torah Law says),
9 and follows this with “See, I've come to do Your will," He effectively takes away the first order (animal sacrifice) in order to establish the second order, a more perfect sacrifice.
THE FIRST WILL BE THE LAST AND THE LAST FIRST !
THE RENT VEIL PROVED A SUPERNATURAL SHIFT !
10 By Alahim's desire, we are now made set-apart through the offering of the body of Yahusha Messiah once and for all time.
11 In the first Blood-Covenant, every Priest stands at his post serving everyday, offering (over and over again) those same sacrifices that can never take away sin.
12 But after Yahusha stepped up to offer His one sacrifice for sins (for all time) He sat down at the right hand of Alahim (IN ALL POWER, AUTHORITY & ESTEEM AS ALAHIM).
13 And since then, He's been waiting for the day when His enemies become a footstool for His feet ...
(as the Psalm says).
THEN WILL BE BROUGHT TO PASS THE SAYING `DEATH IS SWALLOWED UP IN VICTORY' ... 'O' DEATH WHERE IS YOUR STING NOW? O' GRAVE WHERE IS YOUR VICTORY NOW?' YAHUSHA'S REAL ENEMY IS SIN !
14 With one single offering, Yahusha has perfected forever those who are being made set-apart,
15 as Yahusha's Set-Apart Spirit keeps telling us through the prophet Jeremiah, when he said,
16 “But when those days are over, I will make this kind of Covenant: I will put My Torah Laws in their hearts and write them upon their minds, (JEREMIAH 31 PROPHECY)
17 I will erase their sins and wickedness out of My memory as though they had never existed. AFTER THE NEW COVENANT 'DAY OF ATONEMENT' THERE IS A PROMISE OF THERE BEING 'NO LONGER A REMEMBRANCE OF SINS'. IN NUM 15 THE TORAH-LAW (AND THEIR SIN AGAINST IT) WAS BROUGHT TO A CONSTANT REMEMBRANCE BY THE BLUE BORDER UPON THE HEM OF THEIR GARMENTS (TSITSISTS) ... BUT IN THE NEW COVENANT YAHUSHA WRITES HIS ROYAL LAWS ON OUR NEW HEARTS AND GIVES US A NEW SPIRIT (NATURE) THAT ACTUALLY LOVES TO OBEY THEM.
THERE WAS NO SPIRIT TO ENABLE OBEDIENCE AND TRUE LOVE IN THE OLD COVENANT. THE LETTER KILLS, BUT THE SPIRIT GIVES LIFE UNDER THE NEW COVENANT. THE OLD COVENANT WAS LEFT TO THE EFFORTS OF SELF AND FLESH, HENCE FAILURE. BUT YAHUSHA'S NEW COVENANT DEPENDS ON THE SUPERNATURAL.
18 So when there is forgiveness available such as this, there is no longer any need to make a slaughter- offering for sin.
THE VERY FACT THAT THE SACRIFICES WERE SO CONTINUAL AND LABORIOUS SHOWS THAT IT WAS NOT SENT AWAY OR DEALT WITH BUT MERELY A FINGER POINTING TO YAHUSHA'S WORK!
19 So, my friends, Yahusha's blood gives us boldness to enter the most set-apart place,
BOLDNESS - LIBERTY - FREEDOM - CONFIDENCE, GROUNDED ON THE CONSCIOUSNESS THAT OUR SINS ARE TRULY FORGIVEN AND GONE COMPLETELY. WE CAN ACCESS THE VERY THRONEROOM OF ALAHIM YAHUSHA HIMSELF THROUGH HIS BLOOD. THE GUILT-COMPLEX AND CONSCIOUSNESS OF SIN IS PURGED AND THE MEMORY OF OUR CRIMES AGAINST HIM IS GONE. REMEMBER THE OLD PRIEST COULD ONLY ACCESS THAT ROOM (BEYOND THE SPECIAL VEIL) ONCE A YEAR AND NEVER WITHOUT BLOOD!!
THE VEIL - WOVEN WITH COLORS OF PURPLE, SCARLET AND BLUE IN FINE LINEN WITH INWROUGHT CHERUBIM ... ALL A SHADOW OF YAHUSHA AND HIS SACRIFICE. HE IS ALAHIM, HE WAS CLOTHED IN PURPLE AND SCARLET, WITH A BLUE HEM (AS ALL JEW DID - TSITSIT) ... AND HIS BODY WAS WRAPPED IN LINEN WHEN LAID IN THE GRAVE. HOWEVER IT WAS THROUGH YAHUSHA'S DEATH WHERE WE SEE THE REAL TIMING AND SIGNIFICANCE OF THE VEIL (BEING A SHADOW OF HIS FLESH). WHEN ONE WAS RENT, SO WAS THE OTHER. ONE VEIL ACCEPTED, WHILE THE OTHER IS FINISHED, USHERING IN A NEW PRIESTHOOD, NEW COVENANT AND NEW VEIL-LESS SANCTUARY.
OF COURSE THE JEWS IGNORED THE NEW HAPPENING AND CONTINUED IN THE OLD ANIMAL-BLOOD SYSTEM (SEWING UP THE OLD VEIL AGAIN) SO IN 70AD YAHUSHA SMASHED THEIR TEMPLE TO THE GROUND AND SENT THEM RUNNING FOR THEIR WICKED STENCH IN HIS NOSTRILS ... AND IT HAS NEVER BEEN BUILT AGAIN . . . O' BUT THEY'RE TRYING INCESSANTLY!!
20 for He's created for us a new and living way through the veil ...
(that is, through His flesh).
THE FIRST MODULE DEALING WITH 'THE WAY' IS IN GENESIS, WHERE A FLAMING SWORD AND CHERUBIM ARE PLACED TO GUARD `THE WAY' TO THE TREE OF ETERNAL LIFE. ANYTIME ADAM WALKED BY HE WOULD SEE THAT ACCESS WAS NOW DENIED TO THE TREE OF LIFE AND PEACE AND HAPPINESS AND JOY.
NOAH'S ARK HAD MANY LEVELS, BUT `ONLY ONE WAY IN' FOR DELIVERANCE - AND THEN THE DOOR WAS SHUT !
THE TABERNACLE / TEMPLE WAS GATED AND VEILED - `THE WAY' WAS CLOSED TO THE THOSE NOT SEPARATED & CHOSEN.
THEN YAHUAH ALAHIM MORPHED INTO YAHUSHA ALAHIM AND DECLARED 'I AM THE WAY, THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE ... NO ONE HAS ACCESS TO ALAHIM BUT BY ME' ... THE OLD WAY IS STAINED WITH THE STENCH OF ANIMAL DEATH. YAHUSHA IS ALIVE FOREVER !
IN THE BOOK OF ACTS, YAHUSHA'S FOLLOWERS WERE REFERRED TO AS PEOPLE OF 'THE WAY' FOR THE EXACT REASON IT IMPLIES - THEY KNEW 'THE WAY' TO DELIVERANCE AND ETERNAL LIFE THROUGH YAHUSHA ALAHIM IN A 'NEW AND LIVING WAY!'
THE WAY SPEAKS OF BEHAVIOUR DOESN'T IT !?!?!
21 So since we have a great High Priest over the House of Alahim,
22 Let us draw near with true hearts full of belief, having them sprinkled from a wicked conscience, and our bodies cleansed with pure water.
HAVING THE FULFILMENT OF THE PRIEST'S DAILY SERVICES LIVING WITHIN US, LET US NOT STAND AFAR OFF (LIKE YISHARAL AT SINAI) BUT LET US DRAW NEAR. YAHUSHA CAME TO DRAW THOSE WHO ARE AFAR OFF (GENTILES) AND ALSO THOSE WHO WERE (TECHNICALLY) CLOSE TO HIS HEART (JEWS).
23 Let us hold strong to the confession of our hope, never wavering, since the One who promised it to us is trustworthy and true.
24 Let us be concerned for one another, inspiring each other to greater love and good behaviour, (IN CONTRAST TO DEAD LAW WORKS)
25 not refusing to gather as an Assembly (as some are in the habit of doing) THROUGH FEAR, PERSECUTION, REJECTION OR JUST PLAIN INDIFFERENCE ... but encouraging each other, and even more so, especially as the day of Yahusha's return approaches.
26 If we decide to continue sinning after we've learned the truth, then there is no other sacrifice that will take away sins. SO WE'RE STUCK IN A CYCLE OF MISERY!
27 For if we continue sinning, all that is left for us is a fearful time of waiting for the judgment and the angry fire that will destroy those who live against Yahusha. NO SACRIFICE/DELIVERANCE AVAILABLE!
28 Whoever refused to obey the Torah Law of Moses was found guilty from the testimony given by two or three witnesses, and they were not forgiven, but taken out and killed.
29 So think how much more punishment people deserve who show their hate for the Son of Alahim—people who show they have no respect for the blood sacrifice that established the New Covenant, which Yahusha was insulted for, treated as common and His Spirit of favour insulted! UNCLEAN OUTSIDE
WE SAW THE FIRE AND SLAUGHTER OF YAHUAH THAT CAME UPON ANYONE WHO MISTREATED HIS SET-APART TABERNACLE AND ASSUMED TO SLAUGHTER OR SERVE IN THEIR OWN WAY - OR EVEN TRY TO USURP MOSES AND AARON'S ANOINTED AUTHORITY ... SO IMAGINE THOSE WHO DO THE SAME TO YAHUSHA (STILL TODAY) AND REFUSE TO ACCEPT WHO HE TRULY IS (ALAHIM) AND WHAT HE REQUIRES FROM HIS CHOSEN (PURITY - MATURITY!!)
30 We know that Alahim said, “Vengeance is Mine and I will punish and repay them.” And He also said, “Yahuah will judge His people.”
31 It is a terrible thing to face punishment from the living Alahim, so keep the courage and patience you have.
32 Remember the days when you first learned the truth. You had a hard struggle with much suffering, but you continued strong.
33 Sometimes people said hateful things to you and mistreated you in public. And sometimes you helped others who were being treated that same way.
34 Yes, you helped them in prison and shared in their suffering. And you were still happy when everything you owned was taken away from you. You continued to be happy, because you knew that you had something much better — something that would continue forever.
35 So don’t lose the boldness and courage that you had in the past, for it will be rewarded richly.
36 You must be patient. After you have done what Yahusha wants, you will get what He promised you.
37 He says, “Very soon now, the one Who is coming will come and will not delay.
38 The righteous person will live a life trusting in Me for everything. But I will not be pleased with the one who turns back in fear.”
39 But we are not those who turn back to perdition (destruction) and are lost are we? No, we are the people who trust Yahusha and are delivered!
`PERDITION' IS THE SAME WORD USED TO DESCRIBE JUDAS' BETRAYAL AND ALSO OF THE ANTI-MESSIAH IN REVELATION. A STATE OFTEN CAUSED BY A `SELLING OUT' BECAUSE OF LOVE FOR MONEY/WORLDLINESS WHICH LEADS TO BETRAYAL, AND A FALLING AWAY TO DESTRUCTION. IT STARTS IN THE HEART AS A LOVE GOING COLD, A SEED OF BITTERNESS AND IF NOT REPENTED OF - INFECTS THE WHOLE BEING JUST LIKE A LITTLE LEAVEN ! ... SIN DOES THIS ! ...
