MOSES (Mushah) DRAWN OUT (GEN 2)

Around the time when Yisharal first began working as slaves, Amran, a man from the tribe of Levi got married to Joshabed, a woman from the same tribe, and they had a daughter, naming her Miriam, and just before the decree to murder all the male children, they had a son, naming him Aaron. But after the ‘newborn slaughtering’ was announced, Amran, (and many of the Hebrew men) separated from their wives for the safety of their families (so they wouldn’t have any more children).

But one day (when she was older), Miriam their daughter heard the voice of YAHUSHA telling her that Yisharal’s deliverer would be born from her parents, and after running to tell her father this, Amran brought his family together once again after being apart for three years. And Joshabed fell pregnant again and gave birth to a son and she saw that he was very good.

(THE ALEF-TAU/YAHUSHA’S SECRET IDENTITY IS ALL THROUGH THIS TEXT, SHOWING US THAT THIS BIRTH WAS INCREDIBLY IMPORTANT).

So Joshabed kept her baby boy hidden and out of sight from the Egyptians for three months. But when she could no longer hide him, she remembered the deliverance of Noah on the waters and she made a small Ark from papyrus reeds (just big enough for a baby) and waterproofed it with tar and pitch.

THE HEBREW WORD FOR `ARK’ IS ONLY USED TWICE IN THE SCRIPTURES, FIRSTLY TO DESCRIBE THE COVENANT VESSEL TO DELIVER NOAH AND HIS FAMILY AND SECONDLY TO DESCRIBE THE COVENANT VESSEL TO DELIVER MOSES.

And she put her baby in the Ark and laid it among the reeds along the bank of the Nile River, knowing that the Egyptian Princess (who was barren) often visited that spot (despite the crocodiles) to beg Hapi (Egypt’s fertility deity of the Nile River) for a child, immersing herself in worship to him as a fertility rite. The baby’s sister Miriam then stood at a distance, watching to see what would happen to him. ( It was the appointed time of Shabuoth! )

JUST AS NOAH WAS DELIVERED THROUGH THE WATERS IN A COVENANT VESSEL WHILE THE WHOLE WORLD DROWNED, THIS CHILD WAS DELIVERED THROUGH THE WATERS IN A COVENANT VESSEL WHILE ALL THE OTHER NEWBORNS DROWNED. IT’S CLEAR THAT THE CHILD IN THIS COVENANT ARK IS GOING TO BE USED BY YAHUSHA IN A MIGHTY WAY REGARDING YAHUSHA’S BLOOD COVENANT WITH MANKIND.

MOSES IN THE TINY ARK

MOSES IN THE TINY ARK

And the Ark sat in the river for seven days and Joshabed regularly snuck down to quickly feed her baby. And after a week, Bathia, the daughter of the Pharaoh, went down to immerse herself in the `sacred' river, and her maidens walked along the riverside with her, and all the women of Egypt as well. And Bathia saw the small ark upon the water, and sent her maid to fetch it. And when she opened it and saw the child crying her heart melted and she had compassion on him, saying “This is one of the Hebrew children”. (She thought her prayers to Hapi had been answered!) And the maidens attending to her tried to breast-feed the baby but YAHUSHA did not allow him to attach to their breasts in order to return him to his own mother.

And Miriam his sister saw this and, approaching Bathia she said, “Shall I go and fetch a nurse from the Hebrew women, so she can feed the child for you?”

And Bathia said to her, “Yes, Go” and Miriam went and told her mother, who came running down to the river at once. And Bathia said to Joshabed, “Take this child away and feed him for me, and I will pay you wages”, and Joshabed took the child and nursed him until he grew, and when he was weaned she brought him to back to Bathia, who adopted him as her own royal son, and she called his name MOSES (MUSHAH IN HEBREW MEANS `TO DRAW OUT') for she said, “I have drawn him miraculously out of the Nile”.

So Moses grew up in the palace among the Pharaoh’s children and was educated in all aspects of life, culture, philosophy, religion and military combat.

HE WAS A CHILD OF BOTH CULTURES, (EGYPTIAN AND HEBREW) NEVER TRULY FEELING LIKE HE FITTED INTO EITHER. HE LOOKED DIFFERENT TO HIS EGYPTIAN FAMILY AND WAS DESPISED FOR BEING A FILTHY HEBREW (LIGHTER SKIN AND CIRCUMCISED), AND HE WAS ALSO HATED BY HIS HEBREW PEOPLE FOR BEING PART OF THE WICKED SYSTEM THAT WAS MAKING THEIR LIVES SO MISERABLE. HE WOULD HAVE GROWN UP WITH QUITE A CHIP ON HIS SHOULDER!

IT’S INTERESTING THAT AN UNCIRCUMCISED ABRAM IS TOLD ABOUT HIS SEED GOING INTO BONDAGE FOR 400 YEARS AND NOW HIS SEED IS BEING INTERMIXED WITH THE UNCIRCUMCISED NATION OF EGYPT.

And when the Pharaoh saw that his infant genocide had failed and that Yisharal was still growing in numbers and stature, he commanded the site-managers and task-masters that were oppressing Yisharal, saying “THERE WILL BE NO REST AND NO SLACKING OFF FOR ANYONE AND IF ANY MAN IS BEHIND IN HIS QUOTA OF BRICKS OR MORTAR, HIS YOUNGEST SON WILL BE PUT IN IT’S PLACE”.

And they whipped and beat the Hebrew men with heavy blows and if any man fell behind in making even just one brick, the Egyptians took his youngest boy by force from his mother, and put him into the wall of the building in place of the brick that his father hadn’t made in time. And the unimaginable cruelty of this wicked Pharaoh’s regime tortured the nation of Yisharal day by day, for over 200 years, and Yisharal cried out day after day.

MOSES THE TERMINATOR

When Moses was around 26 years old, he went out to visit his own people, the Hebrews, and he saw how much abuse they were copping. While he was there he saw an Egyptian beating one of the Hebrews, and when the Hebrew man recognized Moses he ran to him for help saying, “Please Master help me, this Egyptian broke into my home last night and forced himself into my wife, and now he seeks to kill me to hide his vile rapey behavior”.

And Moses ‘saw red’ (in fury) and after looking to see if anyone was watching, he lashed out, killing the Egyptian, then he hid his body in the sand.

The next day, when Moses was out in Goshen again, he saw two Hebrew men fighting and he stepped in to break them up, “OY, WHAT’S GO’IN ON HERE? Why’re you jumping your mate?” he said to the one who had started the fight, “Come on, just settle down guys!”

But the man replied, “YEAH? WHAT’RE YOU GUNNA DO ABOUT IT? Kill me like you wasted that Egyptian yesterday?”

Then Moses went pale and freaked out, thinking, “Everyone knows what I did!”

And sure enough, word of what Moses did reached the palace and the Pharaoh wanted to kill him for murdering an Egyptian. But Moses packed a few things and ed from the Pharaoh, leaving the only home and family he knew.

MOSES FLEES SOUTH TO KUSH

MOSES FLEES SOUTH TO KUSH

AFTER LEAVING EGYPT, MOSES FOUGHT MANY BATTLES ALONGSIDE THE CUSHITE PEOPLE AND THEY WERE SO IN AWE OF HIS STRENGTH AND COURAGE THAT AFTER THEIR OWN SOVEREIGN DIED, THEY MADE MOSES THEIR KING AND HE REIGNED IN CUSH FOR 40 YEARS!! BUT HIS PAGAN QUEEN CONVINCED THE PEOPLE TO ELECT SOMEONE ELSE BECAUSE AFTER 40 YEARS HE HAD STILL NOT SLEPT WITH HER AND REFUSED TO BOW DOWN AND WORSHIP THEIR DEITIES. SO THEY BOOTED MOSES OUT OF CUSH AT THE AGE OF 66, WHERE HE THEN TRAVELED TO MIDIAN, FOR HE WAS STILL AFRAID TO RETURN TO EGYPT.

MOSES IN MIDIAN

When Moses arrived in Midian, he sat down beside a well. The pagan priest of Midian had seven daughters who regularly used the well to draw water and ll the water troughs for their father’s ocks. But on this particular day some ruthless shepherds were trying to chase them away. So Moses jumped in with his ‘gladiator kungfu’ ghting moves and rescued the girls from the shepherds. Then he drew water for all their ocks and they were so grateful and thankful that they invited Moses to come back to their home that day.

When the women returned to their father Jethro, he asked, “Why are you back so soon today?”

“DAD!! An Egyptian rescued us from those wretched shepherds today,” they answered, “And then he drew water for us and watered all our flocks.”

“Where is he then?”their father asked, “Why did you leave him out there? Invite him to come and eat with us.”

Moses accepted the invitation, and he came and ate a meal with Jethro and his family. And Moses informed Jethro that he had been a Prince of Egypt, but had run away, having been the Sovereign of Cush for the last 40 years, but had just recently been removed from government and been sent away in peace, with gifts. And Jethro was suspicious and feared an international conflict, so he thought it best to hold Moses in the family’s prison house until he could confirm Moses’s story, since he had run away, and make sure there would be no retaliation.

So Moses was held in the prison-house and Jethro’s eldest daughter Zipporah continually fed him bread and water in secret to keep him alive. But after ten years had passed Zipporah said to her father, “You’ve kept that poor man bound up for so many years and not one person has ever come to ask about him and none of your contacts have ever reported back any deception regarding him. Let’s see if he’s still alive and if so, set him free?”

“There’s no way a man can stay alive for ten years without food or water!” Jethro said (not knowing that his daughter had been supporting him).

“Well you know very well that the Alahim of the Hebrews has done mighty works for his people before, so let’s go see”.

And when they went to see if Moses was still alive, they saw him standing in the dungeon as strong as when he rst went in. So Jethro commanded that Moses be brought out, washed and dressed in the garments of his family, and they ate bread together. And Moses settled there with Jethro and his family.

YAHUSHA HAD SEPARATED MOSES FROM THE SONS OF HAM (THE EGYPTIANS) AND BROUGHT HIM BACK INTO FELLOWSHIP WITH THE SONS OF SHEM (THE MIDIANITES).

In time, Jethro gave Moses his daughter Zipporah to be his wife and later when she gave birth to a son, Moses named him Gershom, for he said, “I am still a stranger in a foreign land.”

And he did not circumcise his foreskin on the 8th day because Jethro told him not too.

MOSES HADN’T BEEN IN EGYPT FOR OVER 50 YEARS BUT HE WAS STILL SO HELD BACK BY WHO HE THOUGHT HE WAS (ROYALTY) THAT HE NAMED HIS SON “STRANGER”, BECAUSE HE FELT SO OUT OF PLACE IN MIDIAN. AND NOW HE WAS A SHEPHERD (THE LOWLIEST, ‘LOOKED DOWN UPON’ OCCUPATION ACCORDING TO THE EGYPTIANS), WHICH WOULD BE THE BEST WAY FOR YAHUSHA TO TRAIN HIM TO BE A SERVANT AND SHEPHERD OF HIS CHOSEN PEOPLE. BUT HE HAD TO OVERCOME THE PRIDE OF EGYPT (THE WORLD) STILL IN HIM FIRST.

Zipporah had another son and Moses called him Eliezer, saying “The Alahim of my fathers was my help and deliverance from the sword of the Pharaoh”.

LIKE JOSEPH, MOSES MARRIED INTO A PAGAN CULTURE ALSO, HOWEVER THE MIDIANITES WERE STILL FROM THE LINE OF SHEM, SO THEY WERE DISTANT COUSINS OF YISHARAL ANYWAY. THE MIDIANITES WORSHIPPED MANY IDOLS & DEITIES INCLUDING BAAL AND ASHERAH (MAZZAROTH, SUN, TREE, ZODIAC WORSHIP).

THE PHARAOH’S LEPROUS DEATH

Back in Egypt, the Pharaoh was struck down with leprosy from YAHUSHA for dealing so treacherously with His chosen people. And at the instruction of his sorcerers, the Pharaoh ordered for his wounds to be cleansed by the blood of a newborn hebrew baby in order to heal his leprosy. So each day for almost a year, a newborn hebrew baby was taken from her mother’s arms, slaughtered and it’s blood was applied to the Pharaoh’s wounds. But eventually the skin disease overcame the Pharaoh and his esh began to stink, like the rank esh of a carcass left out in the hot sun for days. And after 3 years the Pharaoh died with terror, shame and disgust and the servants buried him as quickly as possible in a king’s sepulcher, but they couldn’t embalm him (as was usual for a king) because the stench of his esh was so horridly putrid that they couldn’t approach him. This was the fair punishment placed on him by YAHUSHA for his evil treatment of the Yisharalites.

BEFORE THE PHARAOH DIED, HE LEFT ALL POWER TO HIS SON. AND WHEN THIS CHANGE-OVER OCCURRED THE CHILDREN OF YISHARAL BREATHED A SIGH OF RELIEF THINKING HIS SON WOULD BE MORE LENIENT WITH THEM, BUT THEY COULDN’T HAVE BEEN MORE WRONG. THIS NEW PHARAOH HAD EVEN MORE HATRED, BITTERNESS AND RACISM IN HIM THAN HIS FATHER HAD, AND HE INCREASED HIS LABOR FORCE OVER YISHARAL.

So day in and day out the nation of Yisharal continued to groan under their agonizing burden of slavery. They mourned and cried out for help, and YAHUSHA heard their distress and torture and He remembered His Eternal Blood-Covenant promise to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. So looking down on the people of Yisharal, He was jealous for His people and His inheritance and He knew it was the appointed time to deliver them and bring them back to the land of Canaan to be His treasured possession!
