WALLS OF JERICHO (JOSH.6)
Meanwhile (while Yahusha was speaking to Joshua) the people of Jericho had been locking all the gates in their huge town wall because they were afraid of the Yisharalites and no one could go out or come in.
AND THE PATTERN BEING SHOWN HERE IS THE HARDENING OF THE HUMAN WILL AND MIND TOWARDS YAHUSHA WHICH BRINGS CERTAIN DESTRUCTION. WE SAW THIS WITH THE PHARAOH OF EGYPT, AND NOW THE KING OF JERICHO ORDERS THAT HIS FORTIFIED CITY HARDEN ITSELF AGAINST YAHUSHA AND HIS PEOPLE. ALL AVENUES OF ACCESS WERE CLOSED, ALL WAYS OF ESCAPE WERE BLOCKED. THIS PEOPLE DESPISED AND WANTED NOTHING TO DO WITH THE ALAHIM OF YISHARAL; IN REALITY ALL THEY HAD TO DO TO HAVE THEIR LIVES SPARED WAS TO SUBMIT TO HIM, JUST AS RAHAB DID A FEW DAYS EARLIER. BUT THE INHABITANTS OF JERICHO HAD REACHED THE POINT OF NO RETURN; THERE WAS NO OPPORTUNITY FOR THEM TO ESCAPE DEATH NOW EVEN IF THEY DID CHANGE THEIR MINDS. THEIR FATE WAS SEALED (ALTHOUGH THEY DIDN’T NECESSARILY BELIEVE IT) ONCE YAHUSHA’S SET-APART WARRIORS TOOK UP POSITIONS AROUND THEIR DOOMED CITY.
WHEN THIS VERSE SPEAKS OF THE GATES BEING BARRICADED IT IS DECLARING THE PERMANENCE OF THE SITUATION; NO REPENTANCE OR CHANGING OF HEART IS GOING TO HAPPEN.
AND THERE IS A DAY COMING NOT TOO FAR AWAY WHEN THIS WILL BE THE CIRCUMSTANCE FOR ALL MANKIND IN THE 21st CENTURY, AT THE RETURN OF YAHUSHA, TO USHER IN JUDGMENT.
And Yahusha said to Joshua: "With My help, you and your army will defeat the King of Jericho and his army, and you will capture the town. Here’s how I want you to do it. March slowly around Jericho, a whole lap, once a day for the next six days. Take along the Ark of the Blood-Covenant Witness and have seven priests walk in front of it, carrying ram's horns. But on the seventh day, march slowly around the town doing seven whole laps, yes go around seven times while the priests blow their ram's horns. Then on the last time the priests will blast their ram's horns, and everyone else will shout and all the walls will fall down, and your soldiers can go straight in from every side and take over the city".
YAHUSHA TELLS JOSHUA THAT THE OUTCOME OF THIS SIEGE OF JERICHO IS ALREADY DECIDED. ALL THE INHABITANTS OF THE CITY WILL BE ANNIHILATED, EVEN THE KING AND HIS WARRIORS (BECAUSE OFTEN A MERCIFUL ENEMY WILL SPARE THE KING AND HIS ARMY). BUT YAHUSHA HAD ALREADY WON THE BATTLE IN THE SHAMAYIM AND HE WAS THERE TO TELL JOSHUA WHAT LITTLE, YISHARAL HAD TO DO TO FULFILL THE SAME ON EARTH. THEN ALL JOSHUA’S MEN ARE GOING TO DO IS A MOP-UP OPERATION. IF THEY WILL FOLLOW YAHUSHA’S INSTRUCTIONS THE CITY WILL FALL LIKE A HOUSE OF CARDS. BUT YOU KNOW WHAT, I’LL BET THOSE DIVINE INSTRUCTIONS SOUNDED ABOUT AS RIDICULOUS TO JOSHUA AND HIS WARRIORS AS THEY DO TO US NOW. THIS WAS NO EARTHLY OR KNOWN BATTLE STRATEGY BEING PLAYED OUT HERE. THEY JUST HAD TO MARCH!!! MARCH?? NO SHOOTING ARROWS, NO CLIMBING UP SIEGE LADDERS….NUP…..JUST MARCH, AND SHUT UP WHILE YOU DO IT TOO (EXCEPT WHEN THERE’S A SHOFAR BLAST). BUT AS WE KNOW, SOON THEY WOULD JUST WALK OVER THE TOP OF THE DEBRIS AND DESTROY EVERYTHING THAT WOULD BE LAID BARE BY THIS BIZARRE SUPERNATURAL ACT….. AT LEAST THAT’S WHAT YAHUSHA WAS TELLING JOSHUA WOULD HAPPEN IF HE WERE OBEDIENT.
So Joshua called the priests together and said, “Take the Ark and have seven priests carry ram's horns and march ahead of it.”
Next, he gave the army their orders: “March slowly around Jericho. A few of you will go ahead of the Ark to guard it, but most of you will follow it. But be very very quiet, make sure you don’t shout the battle cry or yell or even talk until the day I tell you too. Then after the last lap, when I tell you, let out a mighty roaring shout!”
RATHER THAN THE ARK (YISHARAL'S MOST SACRED OBJECT) BEING CARRIED FAR AWAY, SAFE FROM HARM, IT WILL BE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE COLUMN WITH THE WARRIORS OF YISHARAL FRONT AND REAR. THAT IS BECAUSE YAHUSHA'S ARK IS NOT A RELIC BUT AN INDICATION OF HIS PRESENCE. YAHUSHA WAS NOT ONLY THERE “IN SPIRIT” (IN OTHER WORDS WISHING THEM WELL BUT FROM A SAFE DISTANCE), HE WAS ACTUALLY WITH THEM THROUGH THE ARK. HIS ACTUAL PRESENCE WAS ON THE BATTLEFIELD WITH THEM NOT SIMPLY AS AN ENCOURAGEMENT BUT AS THE INSTRUMENT OF VICTORY AND DESTRUCTION OF THE ENEMY. NOT ONLY THE PRIESTS BUT ALSO THE WARRIORS WERE TO BLOW SHOFARS AS THEY MADE THEIR DAILY JOURNEY AROUND THE BATTLEMENTS OF JERICHO.
CAN YOU IMAGINE THE RACKET OF ALL THOSE SHOFARS, AND THE COMMOTION AND CONFUSION OF THE PEOPLE INSIDE THE CITY? THEY HAD NEVER HEARD NOR SEEN SUCH A THING BEFORE. BUT ANOTHER INTERESTING COMMAND IS ALSO GIVEN: DO NOT SHOUT UNTIL THE DAY I TELL YOU TO SHOUT. IN FACT, OTHER THAN FOR THE SHOFARS DON’T LET A WORD COME FROM YOUR MOUTH! THE WARRIORS AND PRIESTS ARE TO MARCH AROUND THE CITY SILENTLY BUT FOR THE INCESSANT BLOWING OF THE SHOFARS. HOW SPOOKY !!
And as soon as Joshua finished giving the orders, the army started marching. One group of soldiers led the way, with seven priests marching behind them and blowing ram's horns. Then came the priests carrying the Ark, followed by the rest of the soldiers. And they obeyed Joshua’s orders and carried the Ark once around the town before returning to camp for the night.
Early the next morning, Joshua and everyone else started marching around Jericho in the same order as the day before. One group of soldiers was in front, followed by the seven priests with ram's horns and the priests who carried the Ark. The rest of the army came next. The seven priests blew their ram's horns while everyone marched slowly around Jericho and then back to camp. They circled the entire city and they did this once a day for six days.
THERE IS A WORD-PLAY GOING ON HERE THAT IS GOOD TO KNOW: WE HAVE THE PEOPLE AND THE SHOFARS “SHOUTING”. THE HEBREW WORD FOR “SHOUT” IS TERUAH (JUST LIKE THE HEBREW WORD USED FOR THE FEAST DAY WHEN YAHUSHA RETURNS - YOM TERUAH). THIS TERM IS APPLIED BOTH TO THE NOISE THAT WILL COME FROM THE PEOPLE’S MOUTHS ON THE 7TH DAY, AND TO THE DAILY BLOWING OF THE SHOFARS.
A SHOFAR IS AN ANIMAL HORN, USUALLY FROM A RAM, SO THESE ARE NOT TRUMPETS AS MANY ENGLISH TRANSLATIONS SAY; THESE ARE SIGNALING DEVICES, NOT MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS.
THE PRIMARY RITUAL TRUMPETS (THAT THE HEBREWS WERE KNOWN TO USE AT THE TEMPLE) WERE THE SILVER TRUMPETS BLOWN BY THE PRIESTS AND THE LEVITES (AS REGULAR YISHARALITES OR THEIR WARRIORS WOULD NEVER BE PERMITTED TO BLOW SUCH AN INSTRUMENT).
SHOFARS WERE ALSO USED IN BATTLE LIKE BUGLES WERE USED IN THE AMERICAN MILITARY UNTIL A FEW DECADES AGO; THE PURPOSE WAS THE SAME. SHOFARS COULD MAKE A LOUD NOISE HEARD ABOVE THE ROAR OF BATTLE, AND THERE WERE VARIOUS KINDS OF BLASTS THAT GAVE INSTRUCTIONS TO RETREAT, GO FORWARD, CLOSE UP FORMATION, AND SIGNALLED OTHER KINDS OF MILITARY MANOEUVRES. AND LIKE BUGLES, THEY WERE USED TO SIGNAL THE CALL TO BATTLE AT THE START OF A WAR. IN THE SCRIPTURE ERA THAT’S HOW THEY WERE USED MOST; BUT ALSO WE SEE SHOFARS USED IN CONNECTION WITH THE PROPHETS EITHER ANNOUNCING A NEW ORACLE OF YAHUSHA OR AS A WARNING THAT DESTRUCTION AND WRATH WERE ON THE WAY.
SO WE ARE LIKELY TALKING ABOUT HUNDREDS OF SHOFARS BEING BLOWN AS YISHARAL’S WARRIORS WALKED AROUND JERICHO. BUT, ARE WE TALKING HERE ABOUT ALL OF YISHARAL’S MALE WARRIORS BEING PRESENT?
WERE THERE 600,000 MEN IN THE COLUMN THAT SURROUNDED JERICHO? NO.
THE SAME TERM “ARMED MEN” IS USED HERE (REFERRING TO THE TROOPS THAT MARCHED AROUND JERICHO) THAT WAS USED TO DESCRIBE THE 40,000 SOLDIERS FROM THE TRIBES OF REUBEN, GAD, AND MANASSEH THAT LED YISHARAL ACROSS THE JORDAN RIVER. RECALL THAT THOSE 3 TRIBES TOOK UP THEIR LAND INHERITANCE ON THE EAST SIDE OF THE JORDAN RIVER; THEIR CROSSING TO THE WEST WAS ONLY TO KEEP A PROMISE TO MOSES THAT IF THEY WERE ALLOWED TO HAVE THEIR LAND ALLOTMENT ON THE EAST SIDE THEY WOULD FIGHT ALONG WITH THE OTHER YISHARALITE TRIBES TO CONQUER CANAAN.
SO THESE WERE YISHARAL'S SPECIAL FORCES UNIT OF S.W.A.T TROOPS THAT WOULD BE THE VANGUARD OR FORE-RUNNERS OF THE YISHARALITE BATTLES TO COME. THE PEOPLE OF YISHARAL WERE UNDOUBTEDLY STILL CAMPED NEAR GILGAL, IN THE PLAINS OF JERICHO, WHICH WAS ONLY A HALF-DAYS WALK OR SO FROM THE CITY.
DON'T FORGET THIS YAHUSHA-PATTERN OF THE PEOPLE AND THE SHOFARS SHOUTING LOUD (OR IN HEBREW `MAKING A TERUAH') BECAUSE THIS EVENT IS A DIRECT TYPE AND SHADOW FOR SOMETHING THAT IS COMING SOON AT YAHUSHA’S APPOINTED TIME OF TRUMPETS (YOM TERUAH).
"FOR YAHUSHA HIMSELF WILL COME DOWN FROM THE SHAMAYIM WITH A SHOUT, WITH THE VOICE OF CHIEF MESSENGER, AND WITH THE TRUMPET OF YAHUSHA; AND THE DEAD IN MESSIAH SHALL RISE FIRST". THESSALONIANS 4:16
NOTICE THE CONNECTION IN THESSALONIANS BETWEEN THE SHOUT AND THE VOICE OF THE MESSENGER AND THE TRUMPET OF YAHUSHA? THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT WE SEE IN THE BATTLE OF JERICHO AND IT WILL HAPPEN AGAIN, IN A HIGHER SPIRITUAL PLANE, IN THE NEAR FUTURE. THE SPIRITUAL TRUMPET OF YAHUSHA WILL SHOUT IN THE SHAMAYIM JUST AS THE PHYSICAL SHOFARS OF YAHUSHA’S REPRESENTATIVES ON EARTH (THE PRIESTS) SHOUTED AT JERICHO. THE SPIRITUAL SET-APART WARRIORS OF YAHUSHA (WARRIOR ANGELS OR MESSENGERS) WILL SHOUT IN THE SHAMAYIM, JUST AS THE PHYSICAL SET-APART WARRIORS OF YAHUSHA (THE YISHARALITE SOLDIERS) SHOUTED ON EARTH AT JERICHO. AND THE WHOLE EARTH WILL HEAR IT !!!
AND WHAT WILL THE SHOUT SIGNAL? DELIVERANCE (FOR RAHAB AND HER FAMILY WHO HAD JOINED TO YAHUSHA), AND DEATH AND PERMANENT DESTRUCTION FOR THOSE WHO WERE EVIL, REBELLIOUS AND NOT COVERED OR PROTECTED OR MARKED BY THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB (THE SCARLET THREAD).
NOW THE MILLION DOLLAR QUESTION?
Does Yahusha want you blowing physical ram's horns (at appt times or aparantly any time there's an important message to be heard) just like Joshua and his military did in ancient times? 🤪🤪🤪
Then on the seventh day, the army got up at daybreak. They marched slowly around Jericho the same as they had done for the past six days, except on this day they went around seven whole times.
WE CERTAINLY SEE AN ARRAY OF 7’S IN THIS STORY DON’T WE? SEVEN DAYS OF CIRCLING JERICHO; 7 PRIESTS CARRYING 7 SHOFARS; GOING AROUND JERICHO 7 TIMES ON THE 7TH DAY. THIS, COUPLED WITH THE COMMAND THAT THE PEOPLE ARE TO KEEP SILENT, IS TO SHOW THAT EVERYTHING THAT IS HAPPENING REGARDING JERICHO IS A WORK OF YAHUSHA AND THAT THE PEOPLE HAD LITTLE TO DO WITH IT. SEVEN IS SYMBOLIC OF THE COMPLETED WORKS OF YAHUSHA, AND OF HIS PERFECTION AND THAT IS WHAT IS BEING IMPRESSED UPON BOTH YISHARAL AND ON THE LOCAL INHABITANTS OF JERICHO.
Then the priests blew the ram's horns loud, and Joshua yelled: “Get ready to shout everyone, for today Yahuah has given us this city. But remember you must destroy it and everything in it, put it under the ban because it all belongs to Yahuah now. And don't forget to protect the prostitute Rahab who helped our spies . . . make sure you keep her and the others who are inside her house safe. But kill everyone else in the town. The silver and gold and everything made of bronze and iron belong to Yahuah and must be put in His treasury. Be careful to follow these instructions, because if you see something you want and you take it, Yahuah will destroy Yisharal. And it will be all your fault”.
REMEMBER THIS ALL IMPORTANT YAHUSHA-PATTERN AND PRINCIPLE OF HEREM. IT IS TRANSLATED AS “BAN” BECAUSE THE PEOPLE ARE BANNED FROM DOING WHAT WOULD OTHERWISE BE COMPLETELY USUAL, CUSTOMARY, AND LAWFUL FOR THEM TO DO UPON WINNING A BATTLE; AND THAT IS TAKING THE CONQUERED PEOPLE AND THEIR POSSESSIONS AND LIVESTOCK AS WAR BOOTY.
EVERYTHING MUST BE REDUCED TO ASHES WHICH OF COURSE REFLECTS THE YAHUSHA-PATTERN THAT IS ESTABLISHED IN THE SACRIFICIAL SYSTEM WITH THE ASCENDING-NEAR OFFERING, THE SACRIFICE CALLED THE ‘OLAH, WHERE GIFTS TO YAHUSHA ARE GIVEN OVER TO HIM BY MEANS OF BURNING THEM UP IN A SET-APART SETTING. SO THIS LAW OF HEREM INCLUDES THE DEFEATED PEOPLE, THEIR ANIMALS, THE PEOPLE’S POSSESSIONS, THE CITY ITSELF, ALL EXCEPT THE PRECIOUS METALS (GOLD, SILVER) AND VALUABLE BRONZE AND IRON UTENSILS THAT ARE TO GO TO YAHUSHA’S PRIESTHOOD (FOR THEIR USE ALONE) AS YAHUSHA’S REPRESENTATIVES AND KEEPERS OF THE DIVINE LAWS ON EARTH.
So the priests blew their ram's horns again, and the soldiers shouted as loud as they could. Then the walls of Jericho fell flat, and the soldiers rushed up the hill, went straight into the town, and captured it, killing everyone, men and women, young and old, everyone except Rahab and the others in her house. They even killed every cow, sheep and donkey, placing the whole city `under the ban’.
Then Joshua said to the two men who had been spies, “Rahab kept you safe when I sent you to Jericho. We promised to protect her and her family, and we will keep that promise. Now go into her house and bring them out.” So the two men went into Rahab’s house and brought her out, along with her father and mother, her brothers, and her other relatives. Rahab and her family had to stay in a place just outside the Yisharalite army camp. But later they were allowed to live among the Yisharalites, and her descendants still do.
The Yisharalites took the silver and gold and the things made of bronze and iron and put them with the rest of the treasure that was kept at the Tabernacle. Finally, they set fire to Jericho and everything in it.
THE PRINCIPLE/PATTERN OF A FORMER ENEMY BEING GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY TO BECOME A FRIEND OF YISHARAL AND A MEMBER OF THE BLOOD-COVENANT COMMUNITY IS WHAT IS BEING REFLECTED IN RAHAB AND HER FAMILY BEING RESCUED FROM THE RUINS OF JERICHO AND ALLOWED TO LIVE WITH YISHARAL (OUTSIDE THE CAMP AT FIRST). THEY ENJOYED THE SECURITY AND FELLOWSHIP OF YISHARAL AND THEIR ALAHIM, YET THEY ARE NOT THE FULLEST POSSIBLE MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY. THEY RECEIVE SOME BENEFIT, BUT NOT ALL. THERE ARE CERTAIN BENEFITS THAT CAN ONLY BE OBTAINED BY BEING CIRCUMCISED AND THUS MADE COMPLETE MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY; THIS IS ILLUSTRATED BY RAHAB AND HER FAMILY (IN TIME) BEING ALLOWED TO RESIDE INSIDE THE CAMP OF YISHARAL.
And after Jericho was destroyed, Joshua warned the people, “Someday a man will rebuild Jericho, but Yahuah will put a curse on him, and the man’s oldest son will die when he starts to build the town wall. And by the time he’s finished and puts the gates on, his youngest child will be dead too.”
And Yahusha helped Joshua in everything he did, and Joshua was famous throughout the whole land of Canaan.
THIS CITY SHOULD NEVER BE REBUILT AND THE PENALTY TO THE LEADER WHO WOULD REBUILD WHAT YAHUSHA HAS DESTROYED IS THAT HIS FIRSTBORN AND LAST-BORN SONS WOULD DIE IN THE PROCESS. JOSHUA PLACED THE CITY UNDER “THE BAN” FOREVER. JERICHO WAS SET ASIDE AS DEVOTED TO YAHUSHA, FOR ALL TIME AND TO REBUILD THE CITY WAS TO RETAKE POSSESSION OF SOMETHING THAT DIDN’T BELONG TO THAT LEADER OR TRIBE THAT ATTEMPTED IT. UNDERSTAND THAT WHAT IS BEING COMMUNICATED HERE IS NOT THAT PEOPLE COULD NEVER LIVE IN JERICHO AGAIN. IT’S THAT A WALLED FORTRESS (A PROTECTED CITY WITH GATES) WAS NEVER TO BE REBUILT. RECALL THAT THE SYMBOLISM ATTACHED TO THE CLOSED-UP CITY OF JERICHO THAT RESISTED YAHUSHA’S PEOPLE, WAS OF SETTING ITSELF AGAINST YAHUSHA AND THE RESULT OF THAT DECISION AND BEHAVIOUR IS ULTIMATELY, DESTRUCTION. SO A SMALL SETTLEMENT OF PEOPLE (A VILLAGE) IS NOT AT ALL BEING CONTEMPLATED IN THIS CURSE (AT LEAST NOT IN THE SIMPLEST SENSE). FOR SOME HEBREWS TO USE THE STONES OF THE RUINS OF JERICHO TO BUILD THEMSELVES A HOUSE AND THEN FARM THE AREA AND RAISE LIVESTOCK IS ONE THING; HOWEVER FOR AN ENEMY TO ESTABLISH ITSELF WAS ANOTHER.
LATER IN YISHARAL’S HISTORY (ABOUT 5 CENTURIES LATER) A LEADER WOULD IGNORE THIS CURSE AND BRING UPON HIMSELF THE EXACT PUNISHMENT CALLED FOR HERE. WE READ ABOUT IT IN 1KINGS 16:34 “WHILE AHAB WAS KING, A MAN FROM BETHEL NAMED HIEL REBUILT THE TOWN OF JERICHO. BUT WHILE HIEL WAS LAYING THE FOUNDATION FOR THE TOWN WALL, HIS OLDEST SON ABIRAM DIED, AND WHILE HE WAS FINISHING THE GATES, HIS YOUNGEST SON SEGUB DIED. THIS HAPPENED JUST AS YAHUSHA HAD TOLD JOSHUA TO SAY MANY YEARS BEFORE".
YAHUSHA’S WORD WILL NEVER COME BACK VOID AND WHEN HE ORDAINS A DIVINE LAW WITH A CONSEQUENCE FOR ITS VIOLATION, OR VOWS A CURSE, IT TOO WILL NOT COME BACK VOID. IT WILL NOT BE FORGOTTEN; HIEL LOST HIS OLDEST AND YOUNGEST SONS AS A CONSEQUENCE OF REBUILDING JERICHO AS A WALLED CITY.
ANOTHER THING WHICH DEMONSTRATES THAT THIS CURSE DID NOT END IS THE FACT THAT IN RECENT HISTORY, JERICHO THRIVED FOR A LONG TIME. JEW AND ARAB LIVED SIDE-BY-SIDE THERE, AND A NICE VILLAGE WAS BUILT NEXT TO JERICHO’S RUINS. THE DATE PALMS THAT GROW THERE BECAME RENOWNED FOR THEIR QUALITY, AND A THRIVING TOURIST INDUSTRY BLOOMED AND THE RESIDENTS DID WELL FOR THEMSELVES.
HOWEVER SINCE THE INTIFADA (THE PALESTINIAN UPRISING AGAINST ISRAELI OCCUPATION OF THE WEST BANK AND GAZA STRIP FROM 1987 TO 1993, AND THEN IN 2000) WHERE JERICHO BECAME OFFICIALLY DESIGNATED AS A PALESTINIAN POSSESSION, THE PLACE HAS WILTED. ARMED SOLDIERS AT ROADBLOCKS GREET POTENTIAL VISITORS. THE OUTSIDE NATIONS/ENEMIES OF YAHUSHA HAVE AGAIN TRIED TO MAKE JERICHO A STRONGHOLD AGAINST YAHUSHA AND HIS TRUTH, SO THEY HAVE UNWITTINGLY PLACED THEMSELVES UNDER THE CURSE OF JOSHUA. THE PLACE IS POVERTY-STRICKEN AND FEW TOURISTS WILL EVEN VENTURE THERE ANY MORE AS IT’S SIMPLY NOT SAFE AND IT’S A PLACE OCCUPIED BY THE ENEMIES OF YAHUSHA FOR THE PURPOSE OF DEFYING HIM, AND THAT’S WHY IT’S UNDER A CURSE STILL TODAY.
THERE CAN BE WALLS OF PROTECTION AND WALLS OF REBELLION

And when anyone builds a wall, just look how they plaster over it with whitewash; so tell them it's just gunna fall again anyway. A flooding rain will come, the hailstones will fall and a violent wind will break out”. EZ 13 BRS
“Remember guys that you used to be dead in your disobedience and evil crimes too, behaving as the world told you too, controlled by the prince of the power of the airwaves, deceived and enslaved like the rest of the world. Living day to day, dragged from one fleshly lust to the next, completely obsessed by the desires planted in your fleshly minds, behaving like the rest of them as children of wrath. But Yahusha (Who is so rich in compassion) came and made you alive, and brought you together with Him, because He loves you so very much.
Yes! Even when we were dead in disobedient behaviour, He raised us up together, allowing us to connect with His higher-dimension again. And don’t forget that it’s by Yahusha’s favor that you’ve been delivered so that He can show the future generations just how spectacular and rich His favor in kindness toward us is. Now regarding our deliverance status, it’s of course by Yahusha’s favour (through our belief in His blood) not by anything good we’ve done. That’s right! None of us can boast that we’re wonderful because our acceptance and approval-rating is a free-gift from Yahusha, and we can’t suck up to Him through animal sacrifices or any other human efforts or shadows either, Nup! Our deliverance cannot be bought through fleshly works. He draws those He wants and gives them the seeds of deliverance to activate.
But watch out! Because if we continue to break Yahusha’s Instructions, thinking obedience isn’t necessary, we are completely deluded by the wicked philosophies of mankind. For we are His Divine handiwork, designed, created and delivered to behave good works through Him; Principles, Instructions and Divine Laws all laid out for us on a pathway long ago, so that we can walk in them.
But if you just wanna focus on natural and this fleshly existence, fine, ok, but don’t forget that you were all once outside in the nations and “uncircumcised dirty dogs” (as the circumcised crowd would say) . . . a first circumcision (I might add!) that’s only done by hands on our fleshly body. Yes you were outside, alone, without Yahusha, strangers to His Eternal Blood-Covenant of Deliverance and excluded from the set-apart nation of Yisharal, having no hope or expectation. But not anymore, because everyone cut-off and far away have been re-connected and brought close by the blood of Yahusha our Messiah.
For He’s now our peace, bringing both the circumcised and uncircumcised together (cause that’s all fleshly stuff anyway) and HE BROKE DOWN THE WALL SEPARATING THE CLEAN FROM THE UNCLEAN AND THE CIRCUMCISED FROM THE UNCIRCUMCISED THROUGH HIS OWN FLESH, TRANSFORMING THE LEGAL SACRIFICIAL SYSTEMS, AND PROCEDURES IN ORDER TO CREATE A RENEWED, UNIFIED BRIDE, AND RESTORING HER TO FAVOR THROUGH THE TORTURE STAKE, WHERE HE DESTROYED THE DEATH PENALTY BROUGHT BY DISOBEDIENCE.
Yes! He came and declared peace to everyone, both those near and those far off, because through Him both the fleshly circumcised and uncircumcised have direct access to Him through one Spirit. So stand strong guys, knowing that you’re no longer outside strangers and illegal aliens, but fellow citizens, along with the set-apart followers of Yahusha and members of His household, having been built upon the foundation of His followers and prophets (of course Yahusha Messiah is chief corner-stone in whom all the building, being joined together, grows into a set-apart dwelling. And you my friends are this living dwelling (prized real estate), all of you being built together into a dwelling of Yahusha through the portal doorway of His Spirit. EPH 2 BRS
From these Hebrew and Scripture understandings we can see that WALLS CAN EITHER BE SAFETY AND PROTECTION FOR THE OBEDIENT, OR CALAMITY, TORTURE, DEATH AND DESTRUCTION FOR THE WICKED. Walls can be physical in nature or psychological, used for good or evil. The obedient follower of Yahusha guards His Instructions, building a strong wall around them so that no outside demon influence can lure them off the clean path. However the disobedient foolish person is full of demon strongholds and fortresses (lies) stopping them from seeing their wickedness and receiving a love for the truth (that Yahusha is the only deliverance for the curse of evil behaviour)...... they remain invaded and unsecure dwellings, empty shells void of Yahusha's Portal of love.
PATIENCE
HEBREW UNDERSTANDING:
Hated (i.e. persecuted); Job (the patriarch famous for his patience), a female donkey (from its docility), to scrutinize; by implication (of watching) to expect (with hope and patience), to tarry, view, wait.
TURAH UNDERSTANDING (BYNV):
ROM 12:12. Rejoicing in expectancy, enduring under pressure, continuing steadfastly in prayer.
GAL 6:9. And let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not grow weary.
EPH 4:1-2. I call upon you therefore, I the prisoner of the Master, to walk worthily of the calling with which you were called, with all humility and meekness, with Patience, bearing with one another in love.
ROM 8:25. And if we expect what we do not see,we eagerly wait for it with endurance.
COL 3:12-13. Therefore as chosen ones of Yahuah, set-apart and beloved, put on compassion, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, patience, bearing with one another, and forgiving each other if anyone has a complaint against another, indeed, as Mashiak forgave you so also should you.
We can see here again, how the inspired Hebrew language matches up with the Turah. It looks obvious that "The Chosen Ones," are called out to suffer the indignities of hatred and persecution as Yahusha and Job did, if they are prepared to take on the behaviour of "PATIENCE."
Behaving PATIENCE is going to attract all sorts of negativity towards those chosen ones who put on patience. The behaviour of this world is the opposite to the denying of the self-behaviour, and Satan hates the PATIENT, because they reveal his tactics, and people can make better decisions, which delivers them from his bondage. In other words they will follow your lead of being PATIENT.
The behaviour of the Body of Yahusha has not yet realised the value of being willing to take on the suffering of PATIENCE as a warfare, in defeating the enemy. The majority of believers are still fighting among themselves, which Satan is most happy about.
The 3 Rules are a massive help to pull the body out of this cantankerous mood that is prevailing over their heads. Rule number 2 "LET OTHERS HAVE IT," is a forerunner in the art of behaving PATIENCE.
Yahusha tells us about His Bride that half of them in these final days, are wise, and half are unwise. If we want to be the wise, we must see the value of patient behaviour and forgiveness towards each other as a spiritual warfare, that cleanses the body. This is a requirement of the overcomers most believers do not realise, which keeps them bound within shadowy religious behaviour. This is a real behaviour for our deliverance and you just perform it where ever you are.
