BODILY DISCHARGES (LEV.15)
ENTERING INTO A STATE OF IMPURITY (IE FROM SEX, SEMEN OR MENSTRUAL BLOOD) IS NOT THE EQUIVALENT OF BEING DISOBEDIENT (ALTHOUGH DISOBEDIENT BEHAVIOUR DOES RESULT IN UNCLEANLINESS).
Then YAHUSHA said to Moses and Aaron, “Give the following instructions to the people of Yisharal. Any man who has a discharge from his penis is unclean (whether the discharge continues or stops).(NOT SEMINAL EJACULATION, BUT A LIQUID DISCHARGE THAT ‘FLOWS’ OR ‘RUNS’ OR A SYRUPY THICK FLUID THAT BLOCKS OR SEALS THE OPENING OF THE PENIS) So any bed he was laying on or anything he sat on (seat, saddle) is also UNCLEAN. So if you touch the man, his bed, or anywhere he sat (or if he spits on you) or if he touched you without washing his hands, you must wash your clothes and bathe yourself in water, and you will remain uncleaN until evening. Any clay pot the man touched must be broken also POROUS and any wooden utensil he touched must be rinsed with water. And when the man with the discharge is healed, he must count off seven days for the period of purification, before washing his clothes and bathing himself in fresh water, so that he’ll be clean. On the eighth day he must get two turtledoves or two young pigeons and come before Me at the entrance of the Tabernacle and give his offerings to the priest who will offer one bird for a PURIFYING OFFERING and the other for an ASCENDING-NEAR OFFERING and through this process, the priest will purify the man before Me for his discharge.
Whenever a man ejaculates semen, he must bathe his entire body in water, and he will remain unclean until the next evening. Any clothing or leather with semen on it must be washed in water also and it will remain unclean until evening. After a man and a woman have sexual intercourse, they must each bathe in water, and they will remain unclean until the next evening also.
IF A YISHARALITE SOLDIER HAS SEX WITH HIS WIFE ON ANY GIVEN MORNING, HE IS PROHIBITED FROM FIGHTING IN BATTLE THAT DAY BECAUSE IT WAS A SET-APART WAR AND IT WAS FORBIDDEN FOR THE UNCLEAN TO COME INTO CONTACT WITH THE SET-APART. FOR MOST OF THE SURROUNDING NATIONS, SEX WAS A NORMAL AND CUSTOMARY PART OF THEIR RITUALS, USUALLY CONNECTED TO FERTILITY RIGHTS. If a man has sexual intercourse with her and her blood touches him, her menstrual impurity will be transmitted to him and he will remain unclean for seven days also, and any bed on which he lies will be UNCLEAN too. If a woman has a flow of blood for many days that is unrelated to her menstrual period, or if the blood continues beyond the normal period, she is unclean. As during her menstrual period, the woman will be unclean as long as the discharge continues. When the woman’s bleeding stops, she must count off seven days. Then she will be clean. On the eighth day she must bring two turtledoves or two young pigeons and present them to the priest at the entrance of the Tabernacle and the priest will offer one for a PURIFYING OFFERING and the other for a ASCENDING-NEAR OFFERING. Through this process, the priest will purify her before Me for the impurity caused by her bleeding.
NOW GIVEN THAT YOUR AVERAGE MODERN WOMAN TODAY MENSTRUATES ABOUT 450 TIMES IN HER LIFE, I SUSPECT MANY LADIES IMAGINED THINGS WERE QUITE DIFFICULT FOR THE HEBREW WOMAN WHO HAD TO REGULARLY GO THROUGH ALL OF THE RITUALS DETAILED IN THE INSTRUCTIONS. A TYPICAL MODERN WOMAN’S EXPERIENCE IS FAR, FAR REMOVED FROM THE TYPICAL ANCIENT HEBREW WOMAN’S EXPERIENCE.
This is how you will SEPARATE the people of Yisharal from being UNCLEAN, otherwise they will die, for their impurity would defile my Tabernacle that stands among them.(AARON UNDERSTOOD THIS!)
