SAUL’S DARK MOODS AND OUTBURSTS WERE NOW INFAMOUS (IF NOT TO THE PUBLIC AT LARGE, CERTAINLY TO THE KING’S COURT AND TO HIS FAMILY). JONATHAN ACKNOWLEDGES HIS DAD’S INSANITY BUT SEES IT MORE AS IMPULSIVE AND FLEETING AND NOT AN ACCURATE REFLECTION OF HIS TRUE NATURE AND SO HE SEES NO DANGER FOR DAVID TO STAY THERE.
FROM HERE FORWARD WE SHOULD UNDERSTAND THAT DAVID IS A SHADOW OF YAHUSHA AND SAUL (+ ANYONE ELSE WHO COMES AGAINST DAVID) IS A SHADOW OF THE DRAGON, AND WE CAN SEE THE BEHAVIOURAL REALITIES OF BOTH SIDES PLAYING OUT IN TECHNICOLOR TODAY IN THE 21ST CENTURY.
RIGHTEOUS (SAM.19)
One day, Saul told his son Jonathan and his officers to kill David, but because of Jon’s strong affection for David (they were good friends) he warned him, “Better be careful mate, my Dad’s gunna try’n snuff you out. Better scarpa out to the field in the morning and hide, and I’ll bring him out there so we can clear the air. I’ll talk to him about find out his intentions, see if I can reason with him, and I’ll let you know.”
So the next morning, Jon (trying to be a loyal son) reminded Saul about all the good things David had done for him, “Why do you wanna kill Dave? I mean what’s he done? Served in your army and always done his best for you. He even risked his bloody life to kill Goliath for you. And Yahuah kicked all their arses that day, didn’t that make you happy? If you kill an innocent man you’ll be blood-guilty and curse the entire land!”
BLOODGUILT IS A GRIEVOUS CRIME FOR WHICH THERE IS NO ATONEMENT UNDER THE LEVITICAL SACRIFICIAL SYSTEM.
One night, David was in Saul’s home, playing the harp for him, and Saul was sitting there, holding a spear, when a tormenting spirit from Yahusha took control of him, and he threw the spear at David, trying to pin him to the wall again. David dodged, and it stuck in the wall, then he hot-footed out of the house and escaped. And Saul sent guards to watch David’s house all night, to kill him in the morning.
Saul’s nature had so deteriorated without Yahusha's presence upon him that he’d become homicidal, paranoid, suspicious and even distrusting of his own family.
Michal (David’s wife) told him, “Dave, if you don’t escape tonight, they’ll kill you tomorrow!” So she helped David go through a window and climb down to the ground.
But Saul sent the guards back and told them, “Drag Dave out of his bed and bring him to me … I want him killed dammit!” But when the guards broke in, all they found in the bed was the household idol with the goat-hair on its head. “Why have you tricked me this way?” Saul asked his daughter Michal (POT CALLING THE KETTLE BLACK). “You helped my enemy get away!”
“He said he’d kill me if I didn’t help him escape!” She said.
KING SAUL’S HATRED INTENSIFIES AS HIS OWN CHILDREN BECOME MORE AND MORE EMBROILED IN THIS CONFLICT BETWEEN HE AND DAVID. THIS PATTERN OF CONFLICTING BEHAVIOUR CAN BE SEEN TODAY BETWEEN YAHUSHA’S REIGN AND THE ANTI-MESSIAH, WHO IS BATTLING TO KEEP THE THRONE ON OUR HEARTS.
And Saul knew that his son Jon was loyal to David, so he humoured him and promised, “Ok I swear by the living Alahim Yahuah that I won’t have Dave killed!"
And Jonathan believed that his father’s repentance was sincere since he’d made a vow invoking the Creator’s Name again, so he called to David and told him what had gone down, then he took him to Saul, and David served in the royal courts just as before. And the next time there was a war with the Philistines, David fought even harder than before and forced them all to retreat.
And as David ran off, Michal put a household idol in his bed, with goat hair on its head and dressed it in some of David’s clothes. So the next morning, Saul sent guards to arrest David, but Michal told them, “Dave’s hungover, try again later boys.”
HANG ON! WHO HAS A BIG-ARSE, LIFE-SIZED IDOL IN THEIR HOME? DOES IT BELONG TO MICHAL, AND DAVID MERELY ALLOWED IT (BEING NEWLYWEDS AND ALL)? PERHAPS. EITHER WAY, IT'S INDEFENSIBLE FOR DAVID TO HAVE SUCH AN ABOMINATION IN HIS OWN HOUSE. IT VIOLATES YAHUSHA'S INSTRUCTIONS. DAVID, YAHUSHA’S ANOINTED KING, CLEARLY POSSESSES A LIFE-SIZED IDOL AND THIS WILL NOT BE THE LAST OF MANY FLAWS IN HIS CHARACTER AND BEHAVIOUR.
Meanwhile, David went to Samuel at Ramah and told him what Saul had done, so the two of them went to the Prophets Village of Naioth and stayed there. But someone told Saul, “David is at the Prophets Village in Ramah.” So Saul sent a few of his loyal bodyguards to bring David back. And they went to Ramah and found Sam in charge of a group of prophets who were all prophesying. Then the Spirit of Yahusha took control of the soldiers and they started prophesying too.
PROPHESYING MEANS THAT THESE MEN WERE SPEAKING THE WORDS OF YAHUSHA (AND IN THIS CASE, THAT DAVID WAS YAHUSHA’S ANOINTED KING AND SAUL WASN’T)! AND WHEN SAUL’S SOLDIERS ENCOUNTERED THE LIVING WORDS OF TRUTH IT WAS SO POWERFUL THAT IT INFECTED THEM (Yahusha can do that!)
AND THEY UNDERSTOOD THAT THEY COULDN’T POSSIBLY CARRY OUT WHAT THEY CAME TO DO. WHAT ABOUT THAT!! NO PHYSICAL OBJECT OR HUMAN BEING TOUCHED THESE MEN TO TRANSMIT THIS SET-APARTNESS OR RIGHTEOUSNESS INTO THEIR EVIL HEARTS - IT WAS SIMPLY ACCOMPLISHED BY THEIR HEARING THE SPOKEN WORD OF YAHUSHA.
REMEMBER (FROM EXODUS & LEVITICUS) THAT BOTH UNCLEANLINESS AND SET-APARTNESS IS CONTAGIOUS (THINK RADIOACTIVITY), SPREADING FROM PERSON TO CHAIR TO CUP TO BOWL ETC ETC… AND IT’S VERY POWERFUL.
And when Saul heard what had happened, he sent another group of soldiers, but they prophesied the same way. So he sent a third group of soldiers, but the same thing happened to them as well. So finally, Saul left for Ramah himself, traveling as far as the deep rainwater pit at the town of Secu, and he asked, “Where are Sam and Dave?”
“At the Prophets Village in Ramah,” the people answered. So Saul left for Ramah, but as he walked along, the Spirit of Yahusha took control of him too, and he started prophesying. Then, when he reached the Prophets Village, he stripped off his royal clothes and prophesied in front of Sam. Then he dropped to the ground and lay there naked all day and night. And that’s how the saying started, “Since when is King Saul a prophet in Yisharal?”
REPENT FOR DELIVERANCE OR BE PUT TO SHAME
SET-APARTNESS ISN'T JUST PHYSICALLY CONTAGIOUS, BUT SPIRITUALLY TOO (OF COURSE THE SPIRITUAL IS EVEN MORE AMAZING AND OCCURS IN THE SPIRITUAL SPHERE). THE TRUTH CONTAINED IN YAHUSHA’S WORD IS SO POWERFUL AND ALIVE THAT IT CAN CHANGE EVIL MEN’S HEARTS AND MINDS IN AN INSTANT. HAVEN'T WE ALL EXPERIENCED THIS EXACT THING (WHETHER WE THOUGHT OF IT THAT WAY OR NOT)? IT’S A BEDROCK PRINCIPLE OF THE DELIVERANCE EXPERIENCE. THE EFFECT OF YAHUSHA’S WORD UPON THESE MEN RESULTED IN WHAT WAS HAPPENING HERE. THEY WEREN'T REPENTANT SO YAHUSHA MAN-HANDLED THEM BY FORCE, EVEN OVERCOMING SAUL TO THE POINT THAT HE COULDN’T CONTINUE IN HIS OWN EVIL PLOT THAT DAY.
SAUL REMOVED HIS ROYAL TUNICS IN THE PRESENCE OF YAHUSHA, BECAUSE YAHUSHA IS THE ONE AND ONLY KING. IT WAS SAUL’S SPECTACULAR ATTIRE THAT LIFTED HIM UP AND SEPARATED HIS DYNASTY FROM ALL THE OTHER LOWLY COMMONERS. HOWEVER, THE FORCE OF YAHUSHA’S WORD BROUGHT SAUL TO SHAME BECAUSE OF HOW HE'D BEHAVED AND HE WAS COMPELLED TO REMOVE FROM HIS BODY WHAT WAS NOT LEGITIMATELY HIS TO WEAR: STATUS, POWER AND POSITION, THE SYMBOLS OF KINGLY AUTHORITY OVER YAHUSHA’S PEOPLE AND HIS KINGDOM OF YISHARAL.
FLOWING WITH THIS PATTERN, YEARS LATER (UPON THE ARRIVAL OF THE ARK OF THE BLOOD-COVENANT) KING DAVID VOLUNTARILY (AND WITH JOY) TOOK OFF HIS ROYAL GARMENTS BECAUSE YAHUSHA, THE TRUE KING OF YISHARAL HAD RETURNED. DAVID DIDN’T REMOVE HIS CLOTHES IN SOME KIND OF PAGAN RITUAL NOR WAS HE BEING RASH OR AN EXHIBITIONIST. HE DIDN'T DANCE NAKED AS IS OFTEN ERRONEOUSLY STATED, RATHER HE HUMBLY SET ASIDE HIS KINGLY GARMENTS FOR THOSE OF A PRIEST’S EPHOD BECAUSE A PRIEST IS FIRST AND FOREMOST YAHUSHA'S EARTHLY SERVANT AND DAVID KNEW HE COULDN’T POSSIBLY HOLD HIMSELF UP AS ROYALTY IN THE PRESENCE OF THE ULTIMATE KING.
SO WE SEE THAT BOTH MEN WERE STRIPPED OF THE GARMENTS OF THEIR ROYAL DYNASTIES, BUT THE DIFFERENCE IS THAT SAUL WAS FORCIBLY EXPOSED FOR BEING A FRAUD AND DIVINELY SUBJECTED TO SHAME, AND DAVID WAS HUMBLY WILLING TO STRIP HIMSELF OF HIS AUTHORITY AND OFFER IT UP TO YAHUSHA, EXCHANGNG THEM FOR THOSE OF A SERVANT.
EVERY PERSON BORN ON THIS PLANET, WICKED OR RIGHTEOUS, REDEEMED OR LOST, WILL EVENTUALLY LAY DOWN THE AUTHORITY OVER THEIR OWN LIVES BEFORE YAHUSHA FOR JUDGMENT. SO THE ONLY ISSUE IS WHETHER OUR GARMENT OF AUTHORITY IS WILLFULLY GIVEN UP (AS AN ACT OF OUR HUMBLE REPENTANCE) IN EXCHANGE FOR THE GARMENT OF A SERVANT TO THE MOST SET-APART ONE. WILL WE VOLUNTARILY TAKE OFF OUR ROBES OF SELF-RULING OUR OWN WAY, PLACING THEM AT THE FEET OF YAHUSHA, TO BECOME HIS LOVE-SERVANT, OR WILL WE CONTINUE TO HOLD ON TIGHT TO OUR OWN RIGHTS, WAYS AND AUTHORITY AND IN TIME BE BROUGHT TO SHAME AS THEY ARE RIPPED AWAY FROM US AT THE JUDGMENT THAT’S COMING?
OUR DECISION AND BEHAVIOUR WILL DICTATE OUR PRESENT AND FUTURE LIVES AND DETERMINE WHETHER WE'LL LIVE PRODUCTIVELY AS USEFUL PORTALLED VESSELS, SHAPED AND MOLDED BY THE MASTER POTTER, OR AS DISTORTED AND UNCLEAN ONES, TOSSED ASIDE AND USEFUL ONLY TO THE ENEMY.
PSALM 59:
"Deliver me Yahuah! Protect me from the attacks of my enemies! Keep me safe from these boorish brutes who hunt me down to end me. Blood-thirsty hitmen are hiding and plotting, Yahuah, hoping to kill me even though I’ve not hurt them in any way. But they are ready to attack. Do something Father! Help me! Look at what’s happening. And You Yahuah are the Almighty Alahim of Yisharal. Wake up and look my Master, punish all the nations and don’t show any favour to those terrible, rebellious people. My enemies return at evening, howling like coyotes roaming the city. They curse with daggers between their teeth, their words cutting like swords, as they say to themselves, “No one can hear us, we’ll never be caught out!” You, Yahuah, laugh at them and sneer at the nations for they are a laughing stock and a mockery. But You are my mighty fortress Yahuah, an Alahim of kindness and I depend on you. You love me and will let me see my enemies defeated. Don’t kill them, or everyone may forget. Just use Your mighty power to make them tremble and fall. You are a shield for your people. My enemies are liars! So let them be trapped by their boastful lies. Get angry and destroy them. Leave them in ruin. Then all the nations will know that you rule in Jacob. Those liars return at evening, growling like dogs roaming the city. They search for scraps of food, and they snarl until they’re stuffed. But I will sing about your strength, my Alahim, and I will celebrate because of your love. You are my fortress, my place of protection in times of trouble. I will sing your praises! You are my mighty fortress, and you love me.
THESE WORDS IN ORANGE ARE GLOBAL AND PROPHETIC IN SCOPE BECAUSE THEY FIT INTO A FUTURE TIME (NOT CURRENTLY RELEVANT TO DAVID).
"RIGHTEOUSNESS"
HEBREW UNDERSTANDING: Yahuah is our right; Yahusha-Tsidkenu, a symbolical epithet of the Messiah and of Jerusalem:--the Master our righteousness, beneficence.
SCRIPTURE UNDERSTANDING:
"So what do you think? A man had two sons, and he went to the first and said, "Son, go and work in my vineyard today”. And he said, “I don’t want to," but AFTERWARDS HE REPENTED and went and did it.
And having come to the second son, he said the same, and he answered, “Yeah sure, I’ll go Dad”, but he didn’t go. So which of the two did what their father wanted?" They said to Him, "The first one.” Yahusha said to them, “I want you to know that the tax collectors and whores are entering into the reign of Yahuah before you vipers, for John came to you in the way of righteousness, and you didn’t believe him, but tax collectors and whores did. And even when you did see it, you did not "REPENT AFTERWARDS” and believe him, even then". MATT 21 BRS
When we see Yahusha doing something marvellous like opening the door of His reign to sinners and giving them light as they enter, their behavioural response of joy, happiness, dancing, loudness and thankfulness is definitely something that is obvious and can't be suppressed, because it just has to be expressed. But this particular behaviour is not acceptable to the establishment and isn’t acceptable to the the way they express their self-righteous, religious behaviour. They stand apart in judgment, creating a behavioural movement of what they consider is acceptable to express their belief in (which again, is the opposite of how Yahusha wants to be expressed).
The religious self-righteous (not the actual righteous) see this supernatural experience Yahusha is giving these wicked lowly sinners (that stand apart from their dynasties) as unacceptable. They can see that Yahusha is not blessing them, so they wrap themselves up in self- righteousness (not in "REAL RIGHTEOUSNESS" like they should be). Their real motivation towards this group of sinners is jealousy and hatred, and this is because they stand in the doorway, not letting sinners enter, controlling the people, saying they are not of their family dynasties (i.e. letting them know they’re low class). These carpetbaggers know that Yahusha has said to them, "Not everyone who says to me, Master, Master, will enter into My reign, but only those doing the desire of my Father in the Shamayim. MATT 7:21
I have a friend who believes he is a believer and he sarcastically mocks by saying, "Oh can I join the elite sinners club," mocking those who have come from the filth-box of this world. He is not even correcting His words or behaviour and has absolutely no remorse.
The parable of the 2 sons gives us great understanding, and the key is AFTERWARDS HE REPENTED.
