1During the first year that Belshazzarwas King of Babylon (ABOUT 553 B.C), Daniel had a dream. He saw these visions while he was lying on his bed, and he wrote a summary of all these matters that he’d dreamed. 2Daniel said, “In my night vision I saw the winds of the Heaven blowing from all four directions, stirring up a rough sea. 3Then I saw four great beasts coming up out of the sea and each one was different from the other.
4The first animal looked like a lion, but it had wings like an eagle. As I watched, its wings were torn off and it was lifted up from the ground, to stand up on two feet like a human. Then it was given a man’s heart.
5Then I saw another beast there in front of me that looked like a bear. It was raised up on one of its sides, and it had three ribs in its mouth between its teeth. It was told, ‘Get up and devour all the flesh you want!’
6After that I noticed another beast in front of me. It looked like a leopard, but it had four wings (like a bird) on its back, and also had four heads. And it was given authority to rule.
7After that, in my vision at night, I looked, and there in front of me was a fourth beast. It looked fierce, terrifying and strong, with large iron teeth. This animal crushed and devoured its
victims, then trampled on whatever was left of them. This fourth beast was different from all the others I saw before it, and it had ten horns. (A HORN REPRESENTS A KING).
THIS 4TH BEAST IS SO DRAMATICALLY DIFFERENT & SAVAGE FROM THE FIRST 3 THAT THERE'S NO CREATURE FROM THE ANIMAL KINGDOM TO COMPARE IT TO!
DANIEL WAS AN OLD MAN AT THIS TIME, BUT HIS DREAM PARALLELED AN EARLIER DREAM GIVEN TO KING NEBUCHADNEZZAR. THE EARLIER DREAM, RECORDED IN DANIEL 2, WAS OF A GREAT METALLIC IDOL COMPOSED OF FOUR METALS AND CLAY, AND A DIVINE STONE THAT DESTROYED IT. THE FOUR METALS OF THIS IDOL – GOLD, SILVER, BRASS, AND IRON – CORRESPOND WITH THE FOUR BEASTS. EACH REPRESENTED AN EMPIRE ARISING IN SUCCESSION, OVERCOMING THE PREVIOUS ONE. THESE EMPIRES WERE BABYLON, MEDO-PERSIA, GREECE, AND ROME.
REVELATION 13 "THEN THE DRAGON STOOD ON THE SEASHORE, AND I SAW A BEAST COME UP OUT OF THE SEA, WITH SEVEN HEADS AND TEN HORNS . ON ITS HORNS WERE TEN ROYAL CROWNS AND ON ITS HEADS BLASPHEMOUS NAMES. THE BEAST WHICH I SAW WAS LIKE A LEOPARD, BUT WITH FEET LIKE THOSE OF A BEAR AND A MOUTH LIKE THE MOUTH OF A LION. TO IT THE DRAGON GAVE ITS POWER, ITS THRONE AND GREAT AUTHORITY".
THE HYBRID MONSTER THAT JOHN SEES IS THE SAME CREATURE FROM DANIEL'S VISION HERE IN DAN CH.7 AND WILL BEAR CHARACTERISTICS AND ATTRIBUTES AND PROBABLY HAVE SOME KIND OF HISTORIC AND ETHNIC TIES TO ALL 4 OF THE EMPIRES REPRESENTED IN DANIEL’S AND KING NEB’S VISIONS.
8While I was looking at the horns and thinking about them, another horn grew up among them. This was a little horn with eyes like a human and a mouth that spoke great words. (GREAT INSULTS & BLASPHEMY!) Then three of the other horns were pulled out by the roots in front of this little horn.
9As I was looking, thrones were put in their places and the Ancient of Days sat on His throne. His clothes were as white as snow, His hair was as white as clean wool. His throne was made from burning fire, and its wheels were made from flames.
ANCIENT OF DAYS = YAHUAH, BUT HIS DESCRIPTION IS THE SAME AS JOHN'S DESCRIPTION OF YAHUSHA IN REVELATION.1
10A stream of fire flowed forth from His presence, and millions of people were serving Him. Hundreds of millions of people stood in front of him. The great Judge was seated and the books were opened. GREAT WHITE THRONE JUDGMENT!
YAHUSHA IS GOING TO JUDGE AND DESTROY THOSE 4 BEASTS AND THE LITTLE HORN, AND ALL WHO FOLLOW THEM. SCRIPTURALLY, FIRE IS USED FOR TWO BASIC PURPOSES: TO PURIFY OR TO ANNIHILATE TOTALLY. TO REFINE AND PERFECT WHAT IS GOOD OR TO COMPLETELY DESTROY WHAT IS EVIL.
REVELATION 20:12 "AND I SAW THE DEAD, BOTH GREAT AND SMALL, STANDING IN FRONT OF THE THRONE. BOOKS WERE OPENED AND ANOTHER BOOK WAS OPENED, THE BOOK OF LIFE - AND THE DEAD WERE JUDGED FROM WHAT WAS WRITTEN IN THE BOOKS, ACCORDING TO WHAT THEY HAD DONE". (HOW THEY HAD BEHAVED WHILE IN THE FLESH).
MALACHI 3:16 "THEN THOSE WHO FEARED YAHUAH SPOKE TOGETHER AND YAHUAH LISTENED AND HEARD. AND A RECORD BOOK WAS WRITTEN IN HIS PRESENCE FOR THOSE WHO FEARED YAHUAH AND THOUGHT ON HIS NAME".
(THIS ONE RECORD BOOK (THE LAMB'S BOOK OF LIFE) IS ONLY FOR THOSE IMMERSED AND DELIVERED IN HIS NAME !)
11I kept on looking because the little horn was still speaking great words. I kept watching until finally the fourth beast was killed. Its body was destroyed, and it was thrown into the burning fire. 12The authority and rule of the other beasts had been taken from them, but they were permitted to live for a time.
13I kept looking in my night visions and there in front of me was someone who looked like the Son of Man (A HUMAN BEING), coming on the clouds in the sky. He came up to the Ancient of Days and the King’s servants brought him before the King.
THE TERMS 'MESSIAH' (ANOINTED ONE) AND ALSO `SON OF ALAHIM' WERE NOT NEW TERMS GIVEN TO YAHUSHA, BECAUSE ALL THE DAVIDIC KINGS OF OLD IN ISRAEL WERE CONSIDERED 'MESSIAHS' (ANOINTED ONES) AND `SONS OF ALAHIM', HAVING BEEN CHOSEN AND ANOINTED BY OIL AND IN CLOSE RELATIONSHIP WITH YAHUAH BASED ON THE PROMISES GIVEN TO DAVID.
BUT SOME 3 CENTURIES AFTER THE DEATH OF KING SOLOMON, KING NEBUCHADNEZZAR DESTROYED JERUSALEM AND THE TEMPLE AND THE PEOPLE OF JUDAH WERE EXILED TO BABYLON.
THE EFFECT WAS THAT THIS ENDED NOT ONLY A SERIES OF YAHUAH’S 'MESSIAHS' (ANOINTED ONES) SITTING ON THE THRONE OF ISRAEL, BUT IT ALSO ENDED THE PROMISED DAVIDIC DYNASTY LINE OF KINGS (THE SONS OF ALAHIM). EVEN WHEN THE JEWS WERE RELEASED FROM EXILE TO COME BACK HOME TO JUDAH THERE WOULD BE NO RETURN OF THE DAVIDIC DYNASTY TO RULE OVER THEM.
THE PEOPLE PRAYED THAT YAHUAH WOULD FORGIVE AND IN HIS MERCY SUPERNATURALLY FIND, OR CREATE, OR EVEN RESURRECT AN UNKNOWN MEMBER OF DAVID’S ROYAL LINE TO RULE THEM AS AN ISRAELITE KING IN A RECONSTITUTED AND INDEPENDENT ISRAELITE KINGDOM. BUT WHAT THEY FULLY EXPECTED WAS THAT THIS HOPED-FOR DAVIDIC KING WOULD BE JUST AS MORTAL AND HUMAN AS ALL THE ONES THAT CAME BEFORE HIM.
MARK 1:1 "THE BEGINNING OF THE GOOD NEWS OF YAHUSHA THE MESSIAH (ANOINTED ONE) THE SON OF ALAHIM".
THESE WORDS MERELY TELL US THAT YAHUSHA IS THE LONG AWAITED DAVIDIC KING, HOWEVER A FEW CHAPTERS LATER, MARK STOPS CALLING YAHUSHA THE `SON OF ALAHIM' (A TERM WITH NO REAL DIVINE IMPLICATION) AND STARTS CALLING HIM `SON OF MAN', SHOWING THAT YAHUSHA WAS NOT JUST A NEW AND MORTAL KING AFTER DAVID'S LINE, BUT WAS ALSO DIVINE, AND THE ONE THAT THE JEWISH PEOPLE HAD HOPED FOR, FOR SO LONG. YAHUSHA ALSO REFERRED TO HIMSELF AS `SON OF MAN'!
BUT WHERE DID THAT CONCEPT ACTUALLY COME FROM AMONG THE JEWS THAT THE TERM 'THE SON OF MAN' (WHICH HAD FOR CENTURIES JUST MEANT 'HUMAN BEING') ... NOW HAD A DIVINE ELEMENT TO IT? IT WAS RIGHT HERE IN DANIEL CHAPTER 7.
THAT'S RIGHT! FOR THE FIRST TIME IN THE SCRIPTURE, IT WAS IN THIS BOOK OF DANIEL CHAPTER 7 THAT THE REDEEMER OF ISRAEL (THAT THE JEWS IN BABYLON HOPED FOR) WAS GIVEN A FORMAL TITLE ('THE SON OF MAN') AND IT WAS INTRODUCED THAT HE WOULD HAVE A DIVINE NATURE.
I MEAN 'COMING ON THE CLOUDS' IS THE DEAD GIVE AWAY THAT THIS `SON OF MAN' FIGURE IS DIVINE. EVERY OTHER PLACE IN THE SCRIPTURE WHERE HEAVENLY CLOUDS ARE ASSOCIATED WITH SOMEONE, THE BEING IS DIVINE AND NOT MORTAL.
SO LET'S BE VERY CLEAR: DANIEL WAS GIVEN A DIVINE PROPHETIC VISION THAT WAS OF PROFOUND UNFOLDING REVELATION. IT WAS EARTH-SHATTERING AND HISTORY-CHANGING. HE RECEIVED A VISION OF A FUTURE DIVINE MESSIAH (NOT JUST ANOTHER EARTHLY KING), BUT HE DIDN’T REALIZE IT.
A WHOLE NEW BELIEF CONCEPT WAS BORN HERE IN DANIEL - THE CONCEPT OF A HUMAN-APPEARING ALAHIM, WHO IS GIVEN THE TITLE OF 'THE SON OF MAN', WHO IS DIRECTLY ASSOCIATED WITH YAHUAH, THE ALAHIM OF ISRAEL.
OF COURSE SUCH A CONCEPT WOULDN’T HAVE RAISED SO MUCH AS AN EYEBROW OF ANY GENTILE, BECAUSE ALL THE NATIONS SAW THEIR GODS AND GODDESSES AS HUMAN-APPEARING DEITIES. BUT THE ISRAELITES HAD SPENT CENTURIES BEING PUNISHED IN THE MOST TERRIBLE WAYS BY YAHUAH FOR HARBORING THOSE KINDS OF THOUGHTS, BECAUSE THEY ALWAYS MANIFESTED THEMSELVES IN IDOLATRY (IE WANTING TO MAKE AN IMAGE OF YAHUAH THEN BOW DOWN AND WORSHIP IT).
SO DANIEL’S PROPHETIC VISION IS OF THE DIVINE 'MESSIAH' (ANOINTED KING OF ISRAEL), WHOM DANIEL LABELS AS 'THE SON OF MAN', WHO WE FIND OUT IN THE GOSPELS IS YAHUSHA OF NAZARETH, AND DANIEL GIVES US A NUMBER OF ATTRIBUTES THAT WILL ALSO HELP IDENTIFY HIM: HE IS HUMAN, BUT HE IS ALSO DIVINE. HE WILL COME IN THE CLOUDS. HE WILL OCCUPY HIS FATHER YAHUAH'S (THE ANCIENT OF DAYS) THRONE ON HIGH, HE IS GIVEN ALL DOMINION OVER THE ENTIRE PLANET, AND OVER EVERYONE. AND OF COURSE ALL OF THESE ATTRIBUTES THAT WE FIND OF 'THE SON OF MAN' IN DANIEL 7 WE FIND IN YAHUSHA !
MARK 2:10 "BUT IN ORDER FOR YOU TO KNOW THAT THE SON OF MAN HAS ALL AUTHORITY ON EARTH TO FORGIVE SINS . . .” YAHUSHA LOOKED AT THE PARALYSED MAN AND SAID, “STAND UP, PICK UP YOUR MAT AND GO HOME.”
YOU SEE CALLING HIMSELF 'THE SON OF MAN' WAS WHAT MADE THE PHARISEES SO ENRAGED!! BECAUSE WHO GAVE THE SON OF MAN HIS AUTHORITY TO FORGIVE SINS? THE ANCIENT OF DAYS - YAHUAH (WHO IS YAHUSHA ANYWAY!) AND, JUST AS DANIEL 7 MAKES IT CLEAR, THE 'SON OF MAN' IS A DIVINE PERSON. SO EVERYONE SURROUNDING YAHUSHA TOTALLY UNDERSTOOD THAT HE WAS SAYING: 'LOOK, I CAN FORGIVE SINS BECAUSE I’M DIVINE AND THE FATHER HAS GIVEN ME THE AUTHORITY TO FORGIVE SINS!'
BACK TO DANIEL 7:
14And this Son of Man was given all authority, precious esteem and complete ruling power of a reign. People from every nation and language served Him, for His rule is eternal and His Kingdom will continue forever. It will never be destroyed. ONLY A DIVINE BEING COULD BE ETERNAL!

"HERE IS A STATEMENT YOU CAN TRUST: IF WE HAVE DIED WITH HIM, WE WILL ALSO LIVE WITH HIM. IF WE PERSEVERE AND ENDURE, WE WILL ALSO RULE WITH HIM - IF WE REJECT HIM, HE WILL ALSO REJECT US".
REVELATION 2
"TO HIM WHO OVERCOMES, I WILL GIVE HIM AUTHORITY OVER THE NATIONS - HE WILL RULE THEM WITH A ROD OF IRON AND DASH THEM TO PIECES LIKE POTTERY."

"DON'T YOU KNOW THAT YAHUSHA'S BRIDE ARE GOING TO JUDGE THE UNIVERSE? IF YOU ARE GOING TO JUDGE THE UNIVERSE, ARE YOU SO INCOMPETENT TO JUDGE THESE MINOR MATTERS? DON'T YOU KNOW THAT WE WILL JUDGE ANGELS, NOT TO MENTION AFFAIRS OF EVERYDAY LIFE?"
DANIEL WAS GIVEN A VISION OF WHAT THESE LATER SCRIPTURES TEACH. BUT HE WASN'T FAR ENOUGH ALONG IN REDEMPTION HISTORY TO UNDERSTAND IT.
15And as for me (Daniel), my spirit was cut and pierced within me and I was so confused and worried, completely freaked out and bothered by the visions that went through my mind. 16I went to someone who was standing there and asked him what all this meant, and if it was all true, and he explained it to me. 17He said, ‘The four great beasts are four kingdoms that will rise from the earth. 18But the set-apart people of the Most High will receive the Kingdom, and POSSESS THE REIGN forever and ever.’
19Then I wanted to know what the fourth beast was and what it meant, for the fourth beast was different from all the other animals. It was very terribly fearsome and had iron teeth and bronze claws. It was the beast that crushed and ate its victims and trample on whatever was left.
20I wanted to know about the ten horns that were on the fourth beast’s head and about the little horn that grew there also, before three other horns were plucked out. For that little horn had eyes and a mouth that spoke great words, and it looked bigger than the other horns. 21As I was watching, this little horn began attacking and making war against the set-apart ones and conquering them.
22Then the Ancient of Days came and declared His decision against the little horn. Then lawfulness was given to the set-apart people of the Highest One, and they took possession of the Kingdom.
23And he explained this to me: ‘The fourth beast is the fourth Kingdom/Empire that will come on the earth. It will be different from all the other Kingdoms. That fourth Kingdom will devour the earth, destroy people all over the world, and crush nations. (ROME - LATER DIVIDED INTO 2 LEGS)
24The ten horns are ten Kings (EUROPEAN NATIONS) that will come from this fourth Kingdom. After those ten Kings are gone (ROMAN EMPIRE DESTROYED) another king will come (A POLITICAL/RELIGIOUS FIGURE). He will be different from the other Kings who ruled before him. He will defeat three of the other Kings and humble them. 25This King will declare words against the Most High, and wear out His set-apart people. That King will try to change the appointed times and instructions that have already been set (CONSTANTINE, THE FIRST POPE - DID THIS), and the set-apart ones will be under that King’s power for three and a half years.
THE LITTLE HORN, THE ANTI-MESSIAH, WILL FINALLY REMOVE ALL CHOICE IN WHETHER ANYONE ON EARTH MAY OBEY YAHUSHA’S INSTRUCTIONS AND OBSERVE HIS APPOINTED TIMES. DID ANY OF US HAVE A CHOICE (OR ANY UNDERSTANDING) GROWING UP? NO! CONSTANTINE AND HIS CRONES MADE SURE OF THAT. A ONE-WORLD GOVERNMANT AND RELIGION IS ALMOST COMPLETELY FORMED NOW AND THEY REJECT YAHUSHA'S WORD COMPLETELY.
26But the judgment will sit and they will take that King’s power from him and he will be cut off completely. 27Then the reign, the rule and the greatness of all the Kingdoms on the earth will be given to the set-apart people of the the Most High. For His Kingdom will last forever, and people from all other reigns will obey and serve Him'.
28And that was the end of the dream. I, Daniel, was very afraid and alarmed. My face became pale and I didn’t tell anyone these matters that I saw and heard, but kept them in my heart.”
DANIEL ENDS THIS ACCOUNT BY EXPLAINING THAT THIS VISION LITERALLY SICKENED HIM. IF EVER THE WORD 'BITTERSWEET' COULD BE APPLIED, THIS IS THE OPPORTUNITY. DANIEL’S VISION WAS FULL OF THE MOST VILE, VIOLENT, BLASPHEMOUS, TERRIFYING, CATASTROPHIC ACTIONS BROUGHT ABOUT BY WORLD GOVERNMENTS AND THEN A FINAL ACCUMULATIVE WORLD SYSTEM THAT IS COMPLETELY EVIL. DANIEL DECIDED THAT HE COULD NOT BEAR TO TRY AND COMMUNICATE THIS TO ANYONE - SO HE KEPT IT TO HIMSELF AND IN TIME SIMPLY WROTE DOWN WHAT HAPPENED. NO CONCLUSIONS, NO TEACHINGS, JUST MYSTERY AND NO DOUBT MANY SLEEPLESS NIGHTS.

18But the set-apart people of the Most High will receive the Kingdom, and POSSESS THE REIGN forever and ever.’

HIS KINGDOM AND REIGN IS ALREADY HERE WITHIN US IN TEST-FORM, BUT ONLY THOSE WHO TAKE HOLD AND POSSESS IT IN SPITE OF ALL OPPOSITION AND PRESSURE WILL TRANFORM AND RULE WITH YAHUSHA . . .
