17And I saw one Angel standing in the sun, and he cried out with a loud voice, saying to all the birds that fly in mid- heaven, “COME AND GATHER TOGETHER FOR THE MARRIAGE SUPPER OF THE GREAT YAHUSHA, 18to eat the flesh of Kings, and the flesh of Commanders, and the flesh of strong ones, and the flesh of horses and of those who sit on them, and the flesh of all people, free and slave, both small and great.”
THE CARCASSES OF THE COUNTLESS DEAD WILL BE DEFILED AND TREATED AS NO MORE THAN GARBAGE BECAUSE AN ANGEL WHO FLIES ABOUT IN THE MID-HEAVEN CALLS THE UNCLEAN SCAVENGER BIRDS TO A GREAT FEAST THAT YAHUSHA IS PROVIDING FOR THEM. THIS IS, OF COURSE, TO BE CONTRASTED WITH THE WEDDING FEAST OF THE LAMB.
THE ANCIENTS VIEWED THE STRUCTURE OF OUR PLANET AND THE COSMOS VERY DIFFERENTLY TO US TODAY. IT WAS THOUGHT THAT THE BIRDS AS WELL AS THE STARS AND THE SUN AND THE MOON ALL OCCUPIED THE SAME SPACE, AND THIS SPACE WAS CALLED MID-HEAVEN. SO WHEN WE HEAR OF AN ANGEL IN MID-HEAVEN CALLING OUT TO ALL THE BIRDS TO COME AND READY THEMSELVES TO FEAST ON THE DECAYING FLESH OF THE WICKED, THEN THE MENTAL PICTURE WAS OF THIS ANGEL HOVERING AT THE ZENITH OF THE SKY SO THAT ALL THAT WAS BELOW HIM COULD SEE HIM AND HEAR HIM. OF COURSE THIS STRUCTURE OF EARTH AND THE HEAVENS WAS ONLY ANCIENT MYTH, BUT IT WAS NEARLY UNIVERSALLY BELIEVED WITHOUT QUESTION SO THAT IS WHY IT IS DESCRIBED HERE BY JOHN IN THIS WAY.
19And I saw the Beast, and the Kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to fight YAHUSHA who sat on the white horse and His army. 20And the Beast was seized, and with him the False Prophet who worked signs in his presence, leading astray those who received the mark of the Beast (NIMROD BEHAVIOUR) and those who worshipped his image. Both were thrown alive into the lake of fire burning with sulphur (SYMBOLIC LANGUAGE FOR UTTER ANNIHILATION & DESTRUCTION ... THERE IS NO SUCH PLAVCE AS HELL OR ETERNAL DAMNATION, JUST DESTRUCTION!)
21And the rest were killed with the sword which came from the mouth of YAHUSHA who sat on the horse, and all the birds were filled with their flesh.
IT'S FASCINATING HOW THE SCRIPTURE DOESN'T TEND TO INDULGE ITSELF WITH GRAPHIC WAR DETAILS AS IS USUALLY FOUND IN EXTRA-SCRIPTURAL LITERARY WORKS AND CERTAINLY HOLLYWOOD MOVIES, AND THAT'S BECAUSE THE SCRIPTURE DOESN'T SHARE THE SAME OBJECTIVE AS THOSE OTHER WORKS. WHAT IS IMPORTANT IS NOT THE STRATEGY AND THE BATTLE PLANS AND THE TALES OF GREAT HEROES, BUT RATHER OF THE TRIUMPH OF GOOD OVER EVIL.
THE LIST OF THOSE BODIES THE BIRDS ARE FEASTING ON IS INTENDED TO SHOW US HOW ALL INCLUSIVE IT IS AND OF THE SUPREME FINALITY INVOLVED. IT INCLUDES EVERY CLASS OF PEOPLE WITHOUT EXCEPTION: LEADERS OF GOVERNMENTS, MILITARY LEADERS, ARISTOCRATS, EVEN THEIR ANIMALS. ALL KINDS OF COMMON PEOPLE, WHETHER SLAVES OR FREE, REGARDLESS OF THEIR WEALTH OR STATUS ARE AMONG THE DEAD.
AND THIS IS BECAUSE NON-BELIEVERS AND REMORSELESS IDOLATERS ARE FOUND IN EVERY SOCIETY, EVERY CULTURE, OF EVERY RACE AND ETHNIC GROUP, AT EVERY LEVEL OF WEALTH OR POVERTY, IN EVERY CORNER OF THE EARTH. YAHUSHA WILL SPARE NONE OF THEM AND THE BIRDS WILL NOT BYPASS ANY OF THEM IN THEIR FEASTING. DESPITE THIS GRUESOME SCENE, REPRESENTS THE FINAL INSULT AND OFFENSE TO THE DEAD (NOT GETTING A PROPER BURIAL WAS A HORROR TO ANCIENT HEBREWS) ... REMEMBER..... ALL THIS IS GOING TO BE HAPPENING ON THIS PRESENT EARTH THAT WILL BE HORRIBLY WAR-TORN AND STILL SUFFERING FROM THE MANY CALAMITIES THAT YAHUSHA HAS SENT UPON IT THROUGH THE BOWLS OF UNDILUTED WRATH.
THE LEADERS OF THE NATIONS WILL COME WITH THEIR ARMIES TO DO BATTLE AGAINST YAHUSHA AND HIS ARMY., AND THE FACT THAT THE PREVIOUS VERSE HAS AN ANGEL CALLING THE SCAVENGER BIRDS TO A FEAST IS ESSENTIALLY GIVING AWAY THE RESULTS OF THIS BATTLE BEFORE IT EVEN HAPPENS. THAT IS, THE DEFEAT OF THE NATIONS IS ASSURED.
WE SHOULD NOT NEGLECT WHAT EZEKIEL HAS TO SAY ABOUT (WHAT SEEMS TO BE) THE SAME EVENT. AND AS YOU'LL SOON HEAR, THIS IS WHERE GOG AND MAGOG COME IN AS PART OF THE MANY NATIONS COMING TO BATTLE AT ARMAGEDDON.
EZEKIEL 39
“Son of man,speak against Gog for me. Tell him that this is what YAHUAH says: ‘Gog, you are the most important leader of the countries Meshech and Tubal, but I am against you. 2I will capture you and bring you back. I will bring you from the far north. I will bring you to fight against the mountains of Israel. 3But I will knock your bow from your left hand and your arrows from your right hand. 4You will be killed on the mountains of Israel. You, your groups of soldiers, and all the other nations with you will be killed in the battle. I will give you as food to every kind of bird that eats meat and to all the wild animals. 5You will not enter the city. You will be killed out in the open fields. I have spoken!’” This is what YAHUAH said. 6“I will send fire against Magog and those people living along the coast. They think they are safe, but they will know that I am YAHUAH. 7And I will make my set-apart Name known among my people Israel. I will not let people ruin my set-apart Name anymore. The nations will know that I am YAHUAH. They will know that I am the set-apart One in Israel. 8That time is coming! It will happen!” This is what YAHUAH said. “That is the day I am talking about.
9“At that time people living in the cities of Israel will go out to the fields. They will collect the enemy’s weapons and burn them. They will burn all the shields, bows and arrows, clubs and spears. They will use the weapons as firewood for seven years. 10They will not have to gather wood from the fields or chop firewood from the forests because they will use the weapons as firewood. They will take the valuable things from the soldiers who wanted to steal from them. They will take the good things from the soldiers who took good things from them.” This is what YAHUAH said. 11“At that time I will choose a place in Israel to bury Gog. He will be buried in the Valley of the Travelers, east of the Dead Sea. It will block the road for travelers, because Gog and all his army will be buried in that place. People will call it ‘The Valley of Gog’s Army.’ 12It will take seven months for the family of Israel to bury them. They must do this to make the land pure. 13The common people will bury the enemy soldiers, and the people will become famous on the day that I bring honor to myself.” YAHUAH said those things. 14“Workers will be given a full-time job burying the dead soldiers to make the land pure. The workers will work for seven months. They will go around looking for dead bodies. 15They will go around looking, and if anyone sees a bone, a marker will be put up by it. The sign will stay there until the grave-diggers come and bury the bone in the Valley of Gog’s Army. 16The city of the dead will be named Hamonah. In this way they will make the country pure.” 17This is what YAHUAH said: “Son of man, speak to all the birds and wild animals for me. Tell them, ‘Come here! Come here! Gather around. Come eat this sacrifice I am preparing for you. There will be a very big sacrifice on the mountains of Israel. Come, eat the meat and drink the blood. 18You will eat the meat from the bodies of powerful soldiers and drink the blood from world leaders. They will be like rams, lambs, goats, and fat bulls from Bashan. 19You can eat all the fat you want and drink blood until you are full. You will eat and drink from my sacrifice, which I will kill for you. 20You will have plenty of meat to eat at my table. There will be horses and chariot drivers, powerful soldiers, and all the other fighting men.’” This is what YAHUAH said. 21“I will let the other nations see what I have done, and they will begin to respect me! They will see my power that I used against the enemy. 22Then from that day on, the family of Israel will know that I am YAHUAH their Alahim.
SINCE EZEKIEL WAS PART OF THE BABYLONIAN EXILE OF THE 6TH CENTURY B.C, AND SINCE THE NEXT EXILE THAT ISRAEL WOULD FACE IS THE ROMAN EXILE IN THE 1ST CENTURY A.D, THEN CLEARLY THIS BATTLE WITH GOG AND MAGOG HAS YET TO TAKE PLACE AND IS STILL FUTURE TO US. ABOUT THE ONLY PLACE I CAN FIT THIS SCENE IN EZEKIEL 39 IS AT ARMAGEDDON. WHAT I WANT YOU TO NOTICE IS THAT GOG AND MAGOG BELIEVE THEY'RE COMING TO FIGHT ISRAEL. THAT IS, THEY'RE NOT THINKING THAT THEY ARE GOING TO BE FIGHTING A SUPERNATURAL ARMY OF ANGELS BUT RATHER OF FLESH AND BLOOD SOLDIERS. SIMILAR TO REVELATION, THE ENEMY GOG AND MAGOG COME, THEY ARE DEFEATED (BUT WITH NO EXPLANATION OF THE BATTLE) WITH EVERY LAST ONE OF THEM KILLED, AND THEN THE BIRDS COME TO EAT THE FLESH OF THE MILLIONS OF CORPSES. AND OF COURSE WE FIND VERY SIMILAR WORDING IN EZEKIEL 39 AS WE FIND IN REVELATION 19 ABOUT SCAVENGER BIRDS BEING GATHERED TO HAVE A GREAT FEAST ON THE FLESH OF THE ENEMY; A FEAST THAT YAHUAH CALLS A "SACRIFICE".
INTERESTINGLY IN REVELATION 19 THE BEAST WAS NOT KILLED BUT RATHER TAKEN CAPTIVE, AS WAS THE FALSE PROPHET. WE ARE TOLD THAT IT IS WAS THE FALSE PROPHET WHO HAD DONE THE MIRACLES THAT HAD DECEIVED SO MANY PEOPLE INTO TAKING THE MARK (BEHAVIOUR) OF HIS BOSS, THE BEAST, INTO THEIR BODIES AS A SYMBOL OF THEIR ALLEGIANCE TO HIM (ALTHOUGH BECAUSE THESE PEOPLE WERE DECEIVED THEY NO DOUBT THOUGHT WHAT THEY WERE DOING WAS GOOD). AND, SAYS THE VERSE, THIS FALSE PROPHET INFLUENCED THOSE HE LED TO "WORSHIP" THE IMAGE OF THE BEAST. WORSHIP IS STRICTLY AN ACTIVITY THAT TAKES PLACE IN THE RELIGIOUS SPHERE.
THEREFORE THE WORLDWIDE POPULATION OF BABYLON, TAKEN OVER BY THE FALSE PROPHET AFTER BABYLON'S DEMISE, BECAME A TOOL IN GOG (SATAN'S) HAND. THOSE THINKING THEY WERE BELIEVERS AND EVEN YAHUSHA WORSHIPPERS OF COURSE ACCEPTED SUPERNATURAL MIRACLES. AND WHEN SOME CHARISMATIC LEADER BRINGS ABOUT THESE MIRACLES AT HIS COMMAND THEN MILLIONS OF THE FORMER WORLDWIDE FELLOWSHIP OF BABYLON, THAT IS NOW THE WORLDWIDE FELLOWSHIP OF THE FALSE PROPHET, WILL NATURALLY FOLLOW HIS EVERY EDICT. I PROMISE YOU, THEY WOULD NOT DO THAT IF THEY KNEW THE WORD OF YAHUSHA. BUT FOR CENTURIES A GOODLY PORTION OF THE FELLOWSHIP HAS EITHER DISCARDED ENTIRELY THE FIRST PART OF THE SCRIPTURE THAT MAKES PROPER INTERPRETATION OF THE SECOND PART POSSIBLE, OR THEY SET THE SCRIPTURE ASIDE IN FAVOR OF MAN-MADE DOCTRINES THAT SOUND GOOD AND PROMOTE CERTAIN AGENDAS, OR (AS IS HAPPENING IN OUR DAY) THEY QUESTION THE VERACITY OF THE SCRIPTURE ON THE GROUNDS THAT IT IS MUCH TOO OLD AND PRIMITIVE TO BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY IN MODERN TIMES. SO A KIND OF HUMANISED AND TOLERANT RELIGIOUS PHILOSOPHY REPLACES WHAT YAHUSHA'S SET-APART WORD ACTUALLY TEACHES AND COMMANDS US.
CHAPTER 19 ENDS WITH THE BEAST AND THE FALSE PROPHET THROWN INTO THE LAKE OF FIRE, WHICH OF COURSE MEANS COMPLETE ANNIHILATION OF THE PHYSICAL AND SPIRITUAL ESSENCE OF A PERSON.
FINALLY NOTICE VERSE 21 THAT SAYS HOW ALL THE SOLDIERS OF THE BEAST'S ARMIES DIED; IT WAS BY MEANS OF THE SWORD THAT GOES OUT OF THE MOUTH OF THE RIDER OF THE HORSE. AS WE DISCUSSED LAST TIME, THIS SWORD IS NOT A MILITARY IMPLEMENT OF WAR, (EVEN THOUGH IT CAN KILL). RATHER THE SWORD IS THE WORD OF YAHUSHA THAT DIVIDES, ELECTS, AND SEPARATES AND SENDS SOME TO EVERLASTING LIFE WITH HIM, AND THE REMAINDER TO EVERLASTING DARKNESS AND DEATH. POINT BEING THAT WHILE GOG (SATAN), MAGOG (HIS EVIL FOLLOWERS), AND ALL THE ARMIES OF THE BEAST CAME EXPECTING TO FIGHT A HUMAN ENEMY WHOM THEY BELIEVED COULD BE EASILY OVERWHELMED, THEY WERE ACTUALLY CONFRONTED BY YAHUSHA.
THE BATTLE WAS BRIEF AND GRUESOME AS HEAVEN'S FORCES SUPERNATURALLY OBLITERATED THE EVIL ARMY AND THE ONLY PRISONERS TAKEN WERE THE BEAST AND THE FALSE PROPHET; ALL OTHERS WERE KILLED ON THE SPOT. THE FINAL WORDS OF REVELATION 19 ARE: AND ALL THE BIRDS GORGED THEMSELVES ON THEIR FLESH. YAHUSHA HAS SEEN FIT TO EMPHASISE THIS MATTER OF THE DEAD SOLDIERS BEING EATEN BY SCAVENGER BIRDS BECAUSE NOT EVEN IN DEATH WERE THESE UNREPENTANT SINNERS AND ENEMIES OF YAHUSHA SHOWN THE MOST MEAGRE OF DIVINE MERCIES, SUCH AS AN HONOURABLE BURIAL.
And in the midst of all this death and destruction (happening already in the world), Yahusha is re-affirming and establishing His divine order of approach, for mankind to have access to His presence and escape the global judgment that is coming shortly. His Bride are those who ignore the taunts and insults of Nimrod's Babylon, refusing to allow their Temples to be invaded by filth, for their relationship to the Bridegroom Yahusha is more than silver or gold to them - and they now seek to connect others to the Tree of Life through the correct way of approach, shadowed in the Tabernacle Priests.
IN THE BRIDAL FELLOWSHIP, THE ALTAR IS ALWAYS OPEN FOR ANYONE TO BE SET FREE AND ABSOLVED OF THEIR SINS THROUGH CONFESSION, PRAYER AND THE LAYING ON OF HANDS BY THE PRIEST AT THE PORTAL DOOR
REMEMBER THAT DESPITE ALL MANKIND'S EFFORTS (AS DRIVEN BY SATAN'S FORCES OF EVIL) ... YAHUSHA WILL NOT EVEN BREAK A SWEAT AND THE DESTRUCTION OF THE HEAVENS AND EARTH WILL TAKE MERE SECONDS ... TOTAL AND UTTER ANNIHILATION ... USHERING IN A NEW HEAVEN AND A NEW EARTH ... "BEHOLD I MAKE ALL THINGS NEW AGAIN!"
